Part 1 Chapter 12

  Shadow's Point Of View

  Fighting the Doctor's robots are not always easy. 85 percent of the time they are but once in a while he would come up with an ambitious evil scheme that would take longer for us to defeat him. I checked behind me to see if Y/N came outside so I can keep her safe by putting her back inside. To my surprise she didn't come outside, smart move. Tails distracted the doctor while sonic and i attacked his robot. For whatever reason, the robot's power shut down in the middle of the battle. That never happened before when facing the doctor's creations. Suddenly I felt a presence passing me and the robot starts to slightly shake. Before I could even finish it off, the robot exploded. This has never happened before when facing the doctor. He looked so confused; cursing sonic and I and just left back to his hideout. The presence I felt was gone. Something about this battle doesn't make sense or feel right. Tails went back to his garage to check on Y/N along with sonic and I following. We opened the door to see Y/N shaking. I went over to her first.

  "Y/N it's okay, you're safe. The threat is gone." I gently said. She is still shaking. I decided to do something that I never done to anyone else before; I walked closer to her and rub her back. She is very stiff. It made me wonder has she ever relaxed before? After a few minutes she stops shaking and relaxes her shoulders. Again, normally i don't do these things for people who I just met, since there hasn't been any consequences for giving her affection, she will be the only one i do this to. The mood got ruined instantly when I looked up and saw faker giving me smug look on his face. "Don't make me knock your lights out faker."

"You have a soft spot." Sonic teased.

"Shut up faker!" I yelled back. I suddenly heard a small giggle. I looked down to see Y/N holding back her laughter with her hand covering her mouth.

  "My brain cells are dead" she replied lazily.

  "What do you mean?" I asked worried. She slumped over and fall asleep on the chair. On the chair!?!? What the heck is up with this chick!?!? That is random!!! You can only find that shit in cartoons!!! She was laughing one second and asleep the next!!!! Oh my chaos!! What am I supposed to do with her!?!?

  "How the heck is she sleeping on a wooden chair like that!?" Sonic asked.

  "Don't look at me I am not the expert on human behaviors" I replied.

  "Shadow, how about you take her to your house and keep an eye on her? I think there was something odd about our last battle and something doesn't add up. My theory is that she may be the cause of the robot acting up but I just don't know how yet. Possibly you might learn things from her. Oh and don't forget her plush." Tails said as he is giving me her plush. I picked Y/N up bridal style and chaos controlled back to my house. I went over to my couch and laid her down and put a blanket on top of her to keep her warm. I wonder what other secrets she's hiding from me. If tails is right then there must be something about her that is yet to be discovered.
