So here i am, Debating on whether to go or not yet.

i was flying around the Castle until i saw Diane.

"Diane," I mumbled and she must've heard me and looked back

"Um..." She tilted her head

"King, Right?" She asked unsure of what she was saying

"Yeah"

Then there was silence,

"Im sorry that my memories of you were gone." She blurted out and i stared at her

A small sad smile was evident in my face.

She looked at me, Confused

"We had Some great memories together." I flew to her side

"Though its my fault you're like this." I admitted

"How come?" She asked

"You'll know Soon... or when your memories will come back" i smiled

"But, My memories cant be brought back. Once a memory is lost, Its lost forever" She looked down

I went infront of her "Nothing's impossible If i do it for you"

"You?" She asked

"Yeah, I'll get Your memories back." I said with confidence

"King.." She said looking at me

I turned around and slowly floated away, It seriously pains me to leave her like this

"Its Harlequin."

~Diane's Pov

Harlequin.

that name sounds so familiar that its not.

Harlequin. Protect.

"Protect" I said out of nowhere, it was like i said it without thinking

He stopped for some reason

"Did i say something wrong?" I asked

"Protect" He quietly laughed

"Keep that word in mind alright?" He asked Looking at me with sorrowful eyes

i had a feeling that i didnt like the look in his eyes. I wanted to comfort him for some reason.

"Alright, Harlequin."

Then, he disappeared

I went to my room and sat on the ground, I felt tears on my face. I facepalmed

"I-I wanna remember everything... It hurts forgetting about him" i choked out

"wait, Why does it hurt that i forgot about him?" I asked myself

I didnt understand anything.

"Harlequin" I said looking out the window

"Protect."

"I dont know what it means, But i have a feeling that its important."

My body felt numb for a second there

~King's Pov

That voice

I looked behind me and saw no one

"Who was that?" I asked

"Diane?" I asked myself

"Who was what?" Ban was suddenly behind me

"Nothing."

"You sure? You look pretty dead to me" Ban said and i looked back

"i dont know, i might be dead" I said in a sad tone

"I may not be the right person to say this but, Im sure you'll get her memories back for sure. You love her that much that you'll do anything for her, right?" Ban said, Being Wise for the first time in his undead life.

"Yeah" I agreed

"Wait, What?! L-love?!" I asked going red

"Its true isnt it?~" Ban teased

I stayed silent

"Stop denying it King~" He teased again

"Whatever." I flew away

"And by the way, thanks for the wise words." I thanked him, though it feels weird saying it to him when i tried to kill him once. Well, There were times when he tried to kill me too so....

"You're Welcome~" He said loudly for me to hear and i just continued flying away

"Phew! Being Wise is hard work! I didnt even know where that came from!" I heard Ban say from afar
