*involves siblings from a village living in the woods, new race, I haven't fully decided on details yet here*
*involves a princess or daughter or a very upper-class family*
She is kidnapped by the village and they plan on killing her (reason not yet decided) but male sibling (name: Roman?) refuses and saves her.
Instead, she lives in the woods with their village for a while (maybe a year?) and evenatually grows used to it, etc etc.
Ends up falling in love with the male sibling and marrying him. (which shocks her parents in the sequel when she returns to them)
Elizabeth Montgomery would play the Queen/woman from the upper-class family.
Someone along the lines of Brooklyn Decker, Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood would play the Princess/daughter from the upper-class family.
From my other notes:
Rin-Noire Allerton, the female hunter sibling.
Allenson also reasonable surname.
Thought: "We don't really have what you call surnames, in our village/culture. The people here just know me as the Hunter, and those close to me call me Rin."
THIS is not what I really want Rin to say, because I want her character to appear a lot colder. Here, she is telling the princess all about herself and her people right away, whereas I imagine her character to be a lot more closed-off and hostile, more hesitant in revealing personal information. Also the reference to "people close to me." The real Rin would have no one close to her other than her brother, and possibly the chief?
The name "Ramon" has many meanings in many languages, but it all boils down to protector, shield, things like that. That's exactly what I need. SO, I'll call him Roman, which basically means y'know, from Rome, or "strong warrior," and make sure he mentions to the princess at some point something along the lines of:
"Roman's an unusual name. Were you named after someone?"
"Don't I know it! No, my mother wanted to give me a name with a good meaning. A good history. Something she hoped I'd be. She told me she was planning on calling me Ramon, because it means *insert meaning*, but didn't like the sound of the name itself and called me Roman instead."
Penrose is the surname of the royal family.
"Nadia" - name meaning beautiful. Name of the princess?
"Li Mei" chinese name meaning beautiful rose. I want to include a chinese girl in the story now, just to be able to use it.
The name of the chief's wife will be Odara, meaning beautiful woman."
Any other ideas or suggestions would be appreciated?
Edit: Name idea - "If A Tree Falls"
