Emily has a twin sister who is lesbian alison and elizabeth are really close but elizabeth wont hesitate to put alison in her place she has a crush on spencer and no one knows about her crush she is also close friends with mona and helps mona change
when she finds out about alison body she doesn't believe that alison is dead and one day when she is waiting for hannah the emotions is too much and she breaks down crying infront if Ashley (hannah's mom) and accidently tells Ashley she is lesbian and that she is scared to tell her parents and friends when her parent find out they dont accept her like they dont accept emily so she stays with hannah elizabeth and hannah are the closest out of the group they never grew apart.
