"Three of you will infiltrate the three houses." Uzui explained before pointing at me. "You will be one of them since you're the only actual female." He announced, and I jumped.
"Me?! But I can't!" I exclaimed, putting my empty tea glass on the ground. I didn't want to be stuck in a place where my sole purpose was to silently obey. It reminded me of back then...
"That's the whole reason I brought you here in the first place! Now take those unflashy bandages off your face!" He yelled, reaching out for me.
"W-Wait! You don't want me! They're staying on!" I yelled, crawling back from the man.
"Take them off! That's an order! Do I need to remind you what you agreed to?!" He yelled, and I squealed, turning to run out of the room.
"Kazumi!" Tanjiro yelled after me, the other two boys still unconscious.
"They'll never accept you into a house if you're wearing those gross things!" Uzui yelled, grabbing me by my haori before dragging me back to the middle of the room. I sensed his hand reach for my face, trying to touch my face. I shot my head to the side, avoiding Uzui's attempt. He only growled in frustration, pissed at my disobedience.
"You unflashy brat!" He yelled, using his speed to grab the bandages.
"No!" I yelled, knowing I couldn't dodge this time.
"Wait, Mr. Uzui! You might not want to-" Tanjiro was cut off when Uzui swiftly ripped my bandages off, revealing my face. I blinked, adjusting to the new feeling without the comfort of my bandages.
"Oh." Was all Uzui could say as he paused, still holding me up by the back of my collar.
"Well this won't work." He bluntly stated, dropping me on the ground. I frowned, covering my face with my hands.
"Give them back, please!" I exclaimed, and the man only scoffed.
"No, it'll only draw attention." He replied, quickly ripping the bandages up. I sighed, knowing I didn't have anymore on me.
"Wouldn't my messed up face draw more attention?!" I asked, and he hummed lowly.
"We'll get you a mask or something. But none of the houses will take you with those marks on your face. They don't like damages goods." Uzui stated, and I blinked. I frowned, a gloomy aura surrounding me as I processed his words.
"Damaged goods..." I muttered, holding my head in my hands as I sulked.
"Hey! What'd you say?!"
Inosuke suddenly sprung up, and Uzui sighed, ignoring the screaming boy.
"What's going on?" Zenitsu asked, groaning as he sat up.
"Well, it looks like you three boys are going to be infiltrating the houses. Even though you make hideous girls." Uzui sighed, coming to a conclusion. I ran a hand through my hair, feeling bad that my face was messing up this mission.
