I quickly changed out of my damp clothes. I wanted to get back to her as quickly as I could. I put on a navy blue v-neck t-shirt that showed off my muscular torso. I also changed into some black jeans that fit me well and made me look slightly taller. I didn't really need the extra height because of my 6'0 build, but I wanted to look as good as possible when I saw her again. I looked in the mirror at my reflection one last time before running out of the downstairs bathroom. I immediately ran into the living room but stopped when I saw the group of people sitting on the floor. My eyes scanned over all the familiar faces quickly, but they stopped when they were met by the green ones I had fallen in love with.

"What are you guys doing down here?" I said my eyes never leaving hers.

"We are about to play truth-or-dare" a girl with fiery red hair said. I finally looked away from the girl of my dreams to look at the girl that just talked. She stared at me with eyes that screamed love me, but I knew my heart had already been taken.

I realized something after my mind had processed the words truth-or-dare. I had a very devious plan, and I couldn't wait to follow through with it. I grabbed one of my friends from the group and pulled him into the kitchen. I stuck my head around the wall and told the group we would be with them in a minute.

"I need you to dare me to kiss one of the girls" I told him with a serious yet happy expression on my face. "It has to be the beautiful girl with the black curly hair." I said making sure he understood who I was talking about.

"Fine," he said to me "but it will cost you."

"Anything, I will give you anything." I said staring him directly in the eyes.

"It will coat you 20 bucks and you have to have your sister go on a date with me." he said with a smirk on his face. I had to give this demand some thought. The money was no big deal, but the sister is another thing entirely. It would be tricky to get her to accept, but if she knew my reason she would agree.

"I accept your demands." I said taking his hand and shaking it vigorously. We walked back in and I sat down next to the girl I wished was mine. To be honest I still don't know her name.

(Few minutes later)

So far a girl had to wear all of her clothes backwards, the redhead had to stuff both of her hands in peanut butter and run around like a chicken with its head cut off, and one of my friends had to sing Mariah Carey All I want for Christmas at the top of their lungs.

"Tristan, truth-or-dare?" asked the bribed friend of mine.

"Dare" I said getting a little more anxious every passing second.

"I dare you to kiss the girl with the black hair, the one sitting next to you." he said looking in the direction of the girl I had to kiss.

"Okay" I said. I could feel my stomach knotting as I turned to face her. I looked at her and she looked at me with eyes that looked slightly panicked. I let out my breath and that was when I realized I didn't want to wait any longer. I leaned in and kissed her. I cupped her face and kissed her. All my emotions seemed to come alive. It was amazing and I wished it would last forever, but it didn't. How did I know you may ask. I knew, because she slapped me and ran away.

Truth-or-dare was going great, but that happy mood was shattered when someone dared Tristan to kiss me. I looked up and my eyes immediately found his. They seemed to be filled with multiple emotions that I couldn't understand. He started to lean in and all I could think about when he was about to kiss me was Anna. I know she has liked him since second grade, and I don't want her to misinterpret this kiss. She was one of the only friends I had. In the middle of my thoughts I felt something soft on my lips. When I finally let this feeling of softness on my lips sink in I realized he was kissing me. I was stunned for a second, but I slapped him and ran up stairs. I stripped out of the clothes I borrowed and put back on my still slightly damp clothes. The thought of needing to escape kept running through my head. That was when I saw something out one of the windows. It was a gazebo close enough that I could climb on it. I threw open the window and began to carefully step out. I got one foot on the gazebo with one foot still on the windowsill, and I felt like I was about to plummet to my death. I summoned up all my courage, did not look at the ground, and I shoved off of the windowsill all at the same time. I steadied my balance on the beautiful white gazebo. I climbed down partially using the gazebo and partially using the vines on it. I felt my feet touch the ground and I began to run as fast as I could away from the house. My legs burned, but I knew if I stopped I probably would not be able to start again. I am not very athletic so running at full speed and stopping, then trying to run again would not work well. All I knew is I would be interrogated by Anna once she saw me again. She would question my feelings for him and much more, and to be honest I didn't want to be questioned by her. That kiss meant nothing to me because if it did I wouldn't care if she got angry at me. She was the only friend that I had, and I didn't want her to leave me. I gave the house one more look over my shoulder as I sped up my pace. My heart seemed to pinch and I did not know why.

She slapped me. I was frozen in place for a few seconds. I felt bad, because in her eyes as she ran you could see pain and confusion. When I snapped out of my shocked state I ran after her. I took the stairs two at a time hoping that when I got to my bedroom she would be there. My hope was quickly shattered though, because when I opened my bedroom door she was gone. The clothes she had borrowed were in a pile on the floor, and a window in my room was wide open. I felt saddened because I knew I wouldn't be able to tell her how I felt until I found her. The even worse part was I didn't even know her name, how was I supposed to find her if I didn't even know her name. I walked down stairs not even trying to hide my depressed mood.

"The party is over guys. I'll see you tomorrow at school." I said my voice full of sorrow. I watched as everyone left and my eyes met the ones of the red head. She looked saddened, just like the girl that escaped. This confused me, but I shrugged it off I was to sad to really care. I walked back upstairs changed into some sweatpants and basically dove into bed. I wanted this night to end and the dreams of her to begin. I hoped that I would able to find her and tell her how I felt. I let the peaceful slumber come over me and my eyes shut heavily. I fell asleep to these thoughts.
