Tristan P.O.V
----------------------------------------------
I felt energized.  She was mine.  She was finally mine.  The biggest grin was probably spread across my face, but i don't care.  I got dressed for school, got in my truck, and went to pick up my new girlfriend.  The entire way over I replayed last night over and over again.   Each time that I replayed it my smile grew bigger.   I have to admit, I probably looked like the Cheshire Cat when I pulled up to her house.  My face hurts from grinning, but that doesn't stop it from growing wider when I see Ivy walk out of the house towards me. Right once she got into hugging distance I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her petite frame into my arms. I stood their like that for a while. My eyes were staring straight into hers. After a while I helped her into the truck and got us both to school. My mood got even better when I realized I could show her off at school. I parked the truck and held Ivy for a few minutes while leaning my big body against my ride. Everyone's eyes seemed to be on us, but I didn't care. I was proud of the girl in my arms. My eyes snapped to Ivy's when I felt her trying to shimmy her way out of my grip.

"What are you doing?" I said my eyes never leaving hers.

"I don't want people to think lower of you just because you are with me." She mumbled back. This surprised to an extent that my mouth was agape and my eyes were wide.

"No one is going to think lower of me just because I am with you.  You are the most beautiful and sweet girl I have met."  I looked straight into her eyes and saw them begin to fill with tears. The next thing I know her lips are on mine, and I don't really mind this situation at all. After we break apart, I wrap my arm around her shoulders and lead her into school.  I lead her to her locker, wait as she retrieves what she needs for her next class, and carry said items for her.  I walk her all the way to her class, which happens to be on the other side of campus, but it is totally worth seeing the smile on her angelic face when I drop her off.  I kiss her goodbye and jog to my class barely making it before the tardy bell rang.  The entire class I kept thinking off Ivy and how she thought that people would think lower of me just because I am with her.  I decided that I needed to do something that will bringing us closer, so that she will never think that way again.  I shall take her to the lake I found when I was a kid; I mean we both love to swim so it's a great idea.  I leave the class with a broad grin, slowly thinking over every detail of the bonding experience that will take her breath away.  I meet her at the cafeteria doors and tell her to be dressed and ready by 7, since we are going on our second date.  She smiles and it makes me want to pat myself on the back for coming up with this idea.  I eat my lunch and fix up the last few touches on the plan for the date. I drive Ivy home after school and head to the lake I found as a kid. No one else knows about this spot, so it should be perfect. I string lights through the trees and lay out a picnic blanket. I rush home to get dressed and make the food which consists of chips and sandwiches. I would do better, but I can't cook to save my life. I set the basket in the back and head over to Ivy's. The drive there is a blur of questions. Will she like? What if she thinks it's cheesy? What if she doesn't like sandwiches? I calm myself down by telling myself Ivy is not picky and she likes us. When I pull up I let out the breath I didn't know I had been holding. I basically sprint to the front door, calm my nerves, and put on my most charming smile before knocking. After a few seconds Ivy's mom opens the door and lets me in.

"Hello Tristan" Mrs. Stars said in her gentle tone.

"Hello Mrs. Stars, Is Ivy ready?"I said, my words slightly laced with nerves.

"Oh, call me Beatrice. Mrs. Stars makes me feel old, and Ivy will be down in a minute." She said a motherly smile lighting up her face.

"Okay Mrs. Sta- I mean Beatrice" I said an embarrassed smile spreading across my face.
