Suzune: Kalāra Future Generations

Chapter 8

It was 7:00 in the morning.

"Mom! I'm going to Ward- I mean Kakashi's for practice. I will be back before lunch!" Suzune said, taking a toasted bread in her mouth and running hastily out of the door without even acknowledging her mother.

"Hmm..what?" Kalāra muttered waking up from her bed. She looked around to find that the clones disappeared and Maru was sleeping naked under the sheets with her. She went out of the bed and picked up her torn clothes. She mended them up using her powers and wore them back. She took Maru's clothes and went towards the bed. She took the blanket off and started dressing him up. And then she went back to sleep.

Maru woke up an hour after that. He saw his beautiful wife sleeping peacefully in her bed. He slowly went out of the bed without waking her up. He opened the door of the master bedroom to find no one in the hallway. He slowly crept out of the house only to be found out-

"Maru. You came today!"

-by his son.

"Oh hey. He he.. I just came by to see you but since you were sleeping I thought of not disturbing you.." Maru said nervously.

"No you came on the right time. I wake up Mama on this time so that we can make breakfast. I wonder where Onee-chama went." He said doubtfully.

"I think she went for practice." Maru said as remembered hearing a female voice outside the door when he slept.

"Warden! I'm back"

"Eat your toast first! What's the hurry?" He laughing.

Suzune ate her short breakfast and readied herself. She adjusted her grey ring that her mother gave on her index finger, but it hung loose. She proceeded to take her Snowblade and ready for a sparring session with her master.

They started sparring with their swords. Suzune moved with godly speed that she never knew was abnormal. Warden try to outmanuever her at many turns but it has become more and more harder as the training years went by.

Warden swung his blade upwards towards her and she blocked it with precision. Suzune fought in a style different from the typical Japanese sword-style where they fought with both hands clutched onto their sword. Like a samurai. But she fought in the style of the Botticellian sword art where the swordsman or woman fought with one hand. She held her sword on one hand with the ease of a student who was molded in the swordswoman's technique. Her other hand held loose but often folded behind her back in a gentleman's pose.

The Snowblade breaks the makeshift sword Warden used to fight her. So Suzune throws away her sword and shifted to Taijutsu. What Warden didn't know that her grey ring was on the verge of being loosen from her finger. They fought with their fists and foot and through a sped up motion Suzune looses her ring. The ring falls down and Warden notices this. But before he could react Kakashi comes out and tries to stop Suzune from approaching towards him.

"Aaaargh!!" Suzune comes at him with her fist.

"Suzune stop-" Kakashi said.

But it was too late. Suzune touched him without the grey ring. And when she did, a myriad of information passed through her nerves.

She saw images of Kakashi's life. Images of him losing his friends, losing his sensei, his adventures with team 7, him being the Sixth Hokage. His obsession with Icha Icha paradise and Iruka sensei. Iruka sensei? Whoever that is..

And that's when she saw him.

The one information that Kakashi was trying to hide from her prying brain.

It was about her father. He was Konohamaru Sarutobi, the grandson of the Third Hokage, protege of the Seventh Hokage. He married her mother 20 years ago and is now residing in Konoha as the Eighth Hokage. The Hachidaime Hokage.

Kakashi threw himself back after he got punched as Suzune lay frozen mid-fight. She collects herself and looks at Kakashi.

"Suzune..it's not what you think..".

But Suzune already ran towards the cottage.
