Following the taking over of Commonwealth many parties were still held. Often house ones but there was the occasional community party which was held in the courtyard.

As the party began to die down, Daryl looks around for the kids. He feels a sense of panic run through his body as he wanders through the crowds.

"Hey Eugene, you seen Jude or RJ?" Daryl asks, scratching the back of his neck to calm himself.

Eugene is clearly steaming at this point, he turns to Daryl with the smell of wine and beer protruding off his body, "eh? You say somethin"

"Judith? Rj? You seen them?" He asks again, Max notices this and turns to Daryl with an apologetic look on her face.

"I'm pretty sure they're sat on the camp chairs with Lydia," she swats Eugene on the arm.

"Thanks." Daryl says, rushing off towards the deck chairs.

The camp chairs are circled around the now dying fire pit, the orange flames warming the end of summer air and enlightening the area surrounding it.

He emerges closer to the pit and sees silhouettes of sleeping children huddled around the fire on the chairs. Gracie, RJ, Judith and Hershel all passed out despite the music blasting.

Daryl sighs, not wanting to wake the kids but only having the strength and arm space to carry one of them. Aaron and Maggie approach, also looking for their kids.

"Well." Aaron says, breaking the silence, "two trips for you Daryl?"

Daryl chuckles, "eh I'm sure I could do it in one."

"Humble yourself Dixon." Maggie laughs, heading to pick Hershel up with ease, "well. I'll see y'all in the mornin. I'm beat."

"Bye Maggie." Aaron says, Daryl nods a goodbye to her as she heads towards her house. Aaron heads to pick up Gracie, "you sure u don't want me to send someone over to help?"

Daryl turns to look at the crowd and sees a familiar figure heading over, "don't need to' I think one's already on the way."

Aaron smiles, "alright, see you tomorrow Daryl." He heads home also.

You need a hand? Connie signs as she comes into view, her hair bouncing as she walks as it rests just under her shoulders.

In heels? Daryl signs back, nodding to her footwear.

Connie rolls her eyes, I've practically carried you home drunk.

Daryl chuckles, nodding towards RJ, you take RJ I'll get Jude.

The pair of them grab the kids careful to not wake them, RJ stays asleep as Connie holds him at her waist, and waits for Daryl to get Judith who's stirring awake as he lifts her up.

"Shhh." He whispers to Judith as she settles back into a slumber once again.

Ready? Connie signs with her free hand, Daryl nods and they head towards his home.

You'd think now that Pamela was gone he'd upgrade himself into a nice big home, nope. Still that shitty old apartment up those shitty stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs Connie slips her heels off, not wanting to trip and hurt herself or RJ as she went up the stairs. It's not like someone's gonna steal them.

Daryl and Connie walk up the stairs slowly, careful to not wake the kids and once they've reached the apartment floor they head for the door.

Daryl pats his pants for his keys and then holds his hand up to sign to Connie, can you grab my keys? Before pointing to his back pocket on the side he's holding Judith. He hears dog sniff at the door.
