You say I'm crazy
Cause you don't think I know what you've done
But when you call me baby
I know I'm not the only one
I'm Not The Only One~Sam Smith

Jayden's POV

"Good morning father, good morning mother." I walk down for the delicious breakfast that our cook, Mrs. Waits, made.

"Good morning dear. When you get home from school, change into some formal clothes, were going to Belle for diner tonight." my mom kisses my cheek.

I know, I know. It's weird how I think and talk differently. But it's not my fault. My parents only want me to call them mother or father, but in my head I call them mom and dad. It's shorter and simpler this way.

"Okay." I eat the food on my plate.

I absolutely love Mrs. Waits' cooking. She's been with us for years and each day I fall in love with food all over again. I finish my food and I tell my parents bye as I am going outside. I get into my silver Lexus, and head to school.

I go to the only private school in my town. There are only two other schools, Capital High and Westpoint High. Both of the schools are public. Pulling up in the parking lot, I get out of the car and walk up to my best friend, Clark Times.

"What's up man?" he gives me a guy hug.

"Nothing, what did you do this weekend?"

"I went to this party that this kid from Westpoint threw and man was it great. Girls were sexy as hell and they were just, I can't even put it into words. They had junk in the trunk and titties to match. You should've came man."

"Maybe I will next time."

"There's one this Saturday, you better be there or I will hunt you down and drag you kicking and screaming to the party."

"Ok, you're going to drag me." I patronize him.

"Don't patronize me." he glares.

"That's a big word. You deserve a treat."

"Fuck you." he gives me the bird.

"Now, that's not very nice. No treat for you."

"You're a dick."

We hear the warning bell and make our way to class. School goes by uneventful like everyday at this school and before I know it I'm back at home.

"Jayden, come here son." I hear my dad say as I walk up the stairs.

I sit my stuff down in my room and walk to my father's study. I walk in and sit in the chair in front of his desk.

"Yes, father?"

"I want you to go on a date with my friends daughter. She's a sweet girl and I think that you'll like her."

I know that I can't argue. Once my father asks you to do something, he's really telling you and he hates if you don't do what he says.

"Ok, when will this date be?" I stand up.

"In three days, take her somewhere nice."

"Yes sir." I go to my room.

I put on my clothes and do my hair just the way my parents always want it to be. I put on my gold Rolex and my Armani suit. I walk downstairs where I see my mom waiting for me and my dad to come down.

"You look nice mother." I kiss her cheek.

"Thank you, and you look handsome."

My dad comes down and we get into our Mercedes and drive out of the driveway. We arrive at Belle thirty minutes later and we're showed to a table.

"Hello, and welcome to Belle. I'm Evangeline, and today I will be your waitress. How may I help you, anything you want to drink?" I look up to see this beautiful girl.

My mom orders wine and I just get water. The waitress walks off and I can't help but to watch her leave. She is just so damn beautiful.

"We can never have a good night out. Every time we go somewhere we almost always get someone who's not white. Maybe I should start telling people that only whites can serve me." my mom growls.

"But sweetie, serving and cooking for us is all that they're good for." my dad holds her hand.

If you don't know by now, both of my parents are racist. In their minds if you not white, you not right. It doesn't matter if you're African American, Hispanic, Asian, or anything else, you have to be white for them to like you. Of course I'm not like that. The girl serving us is black and she is beautiful to me.

"You're right honey." she kisses my dad.

"Of course I am."

The waitress comes back and gets our food order and I know that I want to see this girl again. When dinner is over, we head home and I think about the waitress. I pick up my phone and decide to call Clark.

"What's up man?" Clark answers his phone.

"What time is that party Saturday?"

"You're coming?"

"Yeah, now what time is it going to begin and finish?"

"It starts at nine and it ends whenever you leave."

"Alright, I will see you there. What's the address?"

"I thinks it's 1901 Boxing Road or something like that. If that's not it, which ever one on that street with all the cars and kids in the yard."

"Ok, see you at school. Bye." I hang up.

I put my phone on the charger before taking a shower. I get out of the shower and dry off my wet body. I put on some gym shorts and I lay in bed and instantly fall asleep.
