Warnings: swearing, slight smut?

I was very disappointed to wake up to an empty bed. I texted Hailee but never received a response, which prompted me to get up and look for her. To my surprise, she was standing in the kitchen cooking something on the stove and talking into her phone.

"Yeah, mom. No. I get it. I'm sorry, okay. I got caught up with something else last night." I coughed lightly, grabbing her attention. She turned around and smiled when she saw me. "I understand. Listen, Dani just walked in. I'll talk with her and get back to you. Yeah, you too. Love you." She hung up the phone and placed it on the counter. I watched as she transferred what appeared to be eggs onto a plate with toast.

"Good morning, my love." She smiled widely at me, placing the plate in front of me with a fork and a cup of coffee.

"Good morning." I smiled back. "Someone's in a good mood today."

"Of course I am, how couldn't I be? I had a great night with my beautiful girlfriend, a great night of sleep, and I got to wake up next to said beautiful girlfriend." She put her plate down at the spot next to mine, as well her cup of warm tea.

All throughout breakfast HAILEE was extremely nice. But I wasn't buying it. "Alright, cut the shit." I paused my walking, making her stop too. The smile she had on her face was now a frown.

"Something wrong?"

"Yes, Actually. Are you okay? Like what the hell is up with you today? I'm starting to think you're having an epileptic episode." I crossed my arms over my chest, causing her gaze to fall for a moment.

"I've been trying to work myself up for something." She mumbled.

"What?"

"Two things actually."

"Well?" I tapped my foot, I was beginning to loose my patience.

"I want you to come to dinner with me."

"Why are you so nervous to ask me that? We literally have dinner together almost everyday."

"Well, it's actually at my house. Well, my parents house..." I stared at her in silence.

"You want me to have dinner with your parents?"

"And my brother, yes." She began picking at her fingers. "If you want too, I mean. It's just, I love you, like a whole lot, and I can't keep you to myself anymore. I want to show you off to the world. I want to take you places you've never been before." She whispered looking at me, her eyes were glossy. She looked like she could cry at any given second.

"Baby, don't cry." I cupped her face. "I would love to go have dinner with your family." I gave her a small smile.

"Really?"

"Of course, baby." I ran my thumbs against her cheeks. "I'd do anything for you."

"Skydiving?"

"Anything but that." I quickly replied.

"Worth a shot." She gave a small smirk. I gave her a quick kiss, and put my hands in hers as we continued our walk.

"What do I even wear?" I gasped, looking at her.

"Anything will work."

"That did not help me, whatsoever." I gave her a stern glare.

"Awe, is the poor little baby mad." Hailee said condescendingly, causing me to gulp.

"Uh, Hailee."

"Yes, darling?"

"Can you not say stuff like that, please?" I looked down as she slowed our pace.
