Many moons had passed with the six apprentices closer than ever with the exception of Duskpaw and Breezepaw avoiding each other, but it wasn't difficult and no one seemed to notice. But Sliverpaw noticed; she was there when the argument went down.

Suspicious over the talk of Duskpaw with Cottonpaw and Dustpaw, Sliverpaw decided to hide herself to listen in after Duskpaw signaled her away for privacy. Watching Breezepaw's amber eyes fill with utter rage as Duskpaw had pressured the young apprentice into a place she was uncomfortable with, Sliverpaw held her breath the whole time.

She hadn't asked if she was okay or why she was acting different the next morning because she knew what happened. And Breezepaw wasn't happy. Though, being Breezepaw, she was able to shrug off her mood in a pawful of days, but Sliverpaw knew she hadn't forgiven him. Best friends knew things the other didn't share.

Greenleaf had arrived and it was time for new apprentices. The four mentored apprentices held the spotlight as the center of the ring of their clanmates. Bramblestar stood tall upon the Highrock.

Three new warriors sat aside as Dustpaw earned his name. Sliverpaw had become Sliverstone for her endurance to be trained and to mentor her unmentored best friends, Crystalpaw had become Crystalblaze for her kind heart and determination, and Cottonpaw had become Cottonwillow for her generosity and motherly nature.

"Dustpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Bramblestar asked the handsome, brown tom.

"I do," Dustpaw replied with a purr deep in his chest.

"Then by the watchful eye of The Place of Cold Waters, I give you your warrior name. Dustpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Dustfeather." The brown warrior's gorgeous green eyes shined with appreciation of his new name. "We honor your kind and gentle nature, and we welcome you as a full warrior of BrambleClan."

The clan cheered the new names of the warriors. "Sliverstone! Crystalblaze! Cottonwillow! Dustfeather!"

Bramblestar waited until the cheering creased before dismissing the meeting. "Meeting-"

"Wait!" Sliverstone interrupted. Everyone froze in shock. Even Breezepaw and Nightpaw were silenced by their friend's unusual behavior. Everyone was staring at the silver warrior. "Make Breezepaw and Nightpaw warriors."

Still frozen with shock, Bramblestar was the only one to respond to the new warrior. "And why must I do so? Do you not believe in your leader's word as to demand a ceremony I have not discussed?"

Sliverstone regretted her burst out, but it was too late now. "They have trained as much as we have, if not more, watching and learning from several mentors and myself." She puffed out her chest in false confidence. "And I say they deserve it."

Bramblestar snorted. The clan looked from Sliverstone to Nightpaw and Breezepaw, then to Bramblestar for an answer. A tiny smile formed on his face. "You are a brave and confident warrior. Nightpaw can become a warrior."

Nightpaw flinched with surprise. Sliverstone shook her head, "Why not-"

The leader growled strictly. "Before I change my mind, Nightpaw shall now be known as Nightwhisper."
