Chapter Five
I don't know how long it has been since they both left. After I asked blondie to let me go, he scoffed and walked towards the door. He stopped with one foot out and turned to tell me his name is Nico.
I guess he didn't like the nickname.
That was the last time I seen him and Nico. I have been here for at least hours. In and out of sleep, so it could be days for all I know. My entire body is stiff and sore from being in this position for so long. My foot is only growing more painful as the hours pass.
I really don't want to, but I'm most likely going to have to call for Nico to come look at it.
"Nico!" I yell with a hoarse voice. I can feel my throat burning as I speak. I haven't had anything to drink or eat since I've left home. The pain from starvation and dehydration is balanced out with my body pains.
He never answered from my first call, so I hollered a few more times, getting louder each time. My voice cracking every time I go higher.
"Nic-"
"What the fuck do you want!" he screams as he pushes the door open harshly. The loud ring from where the metal door connects with the concrete wall startles me slightly. He's obviously annoyed right now.
Oh well.
I scan over him and notice he is wearing blue jeans with a navy button down shirt. How long have a been here? Last time I saw him he was in a suit.
His blonde hair rest effortlessly on his forehead. He flicks his head to the left to move it out of his eyes, and that pulls me back to reality.
"Can you look at my foot," I pout, looking down at my foot as I speak, "I think it's broken or something."
Nico sighs as he runs his hand through his hair. He looks behind his shoulder as if he is contemplating on just leaving me here, but much to my appreciation he closes the door behind him. He takes too long strides toward me and crouches down in front of me.
I immediately tense up at the thought of me not showering. I don't know how long I been here, but I must smell gross. I never showered before I ran away. I also happened to sweat a lot when I was running.
He started untying my shoe, so I tipped my head down to smell myself. I immediately wanted to throw up at the nasty body odor. I shook my head as my nose burned from the rancid smell. It's absolutely disgusting.
Nico laugh causes me to snap my eyes to his as he paused and looked up at me. His playing grin on his lips showcase his bright white teeth, but I can't find it in myself think about how he's smiling right now. He definitely saw me smell myself.
"Yes, you smell awful," he states the obvious and I narrow my eyes at him. He shakes his head, laughing, as he looks back down to finish untying my shoe.
