Banjo said that if only he's rich like Kean, money won't be a problem to him and Joy will accept him. Laura went back to the farm as she told the staff there to make sure that no one will try to ruin the harmonious living here in the farm again and she visited Oli after what happened to them. Oli wa surprised by Laura's presence so she asked her if she's now happy that her dad is finally dead and she said that its not enough for her to see them miserable as she want them to die but Lyka was pissed enough that she slapped Laura and told her that they're not born to just be a loser to her tactics and this made Laura felt embarrassed and she walked out. Lucy was walking on the streets when Gerry saw her and he asked her what happened to her now and she said that they're now living peacefully and he asked if she wanted to work for her as she really is one of the most trustworthy workers that she had before and she said that she's willing to accept his offer but she should think about it properly. Lucy was confused as she went home about accepting Gerry's offer after what they did to Banjo and Sol said that maybe Gerry is not like Pilar and has a pure intention to help them so she told her that she needed time to think about it. The 1st sem was done and Joy saw her final grades but she was shook as she failed her Accounting class that made her frustrated and when Kean asked her if she successfully passed her subject, she lied and said yes. Joy went to Banjo and she heard that he got high grades and will graduate with honors so she congratulated Banjo for his achievement and he asked her if she passed but she bursted in tears as she said that she failed in one of her subjects so he told her that they need to talk about that matter. They went to an eatery and he told her that they will go together to their teacher to ask her about that grade and Joy said that she's scared to do that. Mrs. Lamsen is now on her office and Banjo asked her about Joy's grade as she don't deserve it. Mrs. L told Banjo that the only way that she can pull her grade to passing mark is to invite her parent her as she needs to talk to them. Joy was surprised when she heard about that and she was left with no choice but to talk to her dad about this matter. Alex visited Del and she saw that he brought Marga's phone and he said that he opened it and found out that the last numbers that she called were from Laura so Del called the number and it was answered by Laura on the other line. Laura asked the caller who is this and she said that hee end is near as all the crimes that she did will slowly be exposed and this made her anxious as she have no idea who called her. Gerry and Ram, his friend had a talk and they discussed about a case Ram handled and her client is Del Madrigal, a rich businesswoman who was imprisoned because of murder and Gerry saw Del's face that made him curious about her. Del presented the proof to Atty. Bueno ans she said that this is enough evidence that the person who wanna kill Marga is Laura and Atty. Bueno said that he need to study this evidence first before presenting it on the court as Mr. Lim's lawyer might outsmart them on this one so Del told him that she hope that the phone can be considered. Joy went home and Belle asked her if she's ready to graduate and enter college now but she admitted that she's not yet ready and she needs her dad to talk to her prof regarding the issue. Gerry saw Joy looking sad so he asked her what's wrong and she told him that she needed him to make her teacher pull her grades and this was highly concerning for him so the next day, he went to school and asked the teacher about the matter. Mrs. Lamzen told him that Joy needs help with her grades and she failed her final exams but he asked her to make her pass the subject so the teacher considered Joy and she received a passing mark. Joy was happy with the outcome but Gerry wasn't so when they went home, he voiced out his disappointment towards her and he told her that he never worked hard in the US for his child to give him grades like this.

Joy told her dad that its hard for her to live in this house without a father guiding her and she even exposed that she used to leave the house because she was extremely unhappy here that ended her up to be sicked and rushed to the hospital without any of her Tita Pilar's help and only Lucy and her family helped her and now that she passed her subjects and finished HS, she hope that he's happy now as for her, she's not happy anymore. Joy walked out and Gerry was confused on what happened so he asked Pilar about the issues so she disclosed that she failed on taking care of Joy but she did her best to make sure that she won't end up in the garbage and things got worse when she lost her job and only relied on the money that he sent to them. Gerry was now confused so he went to his room and called Alvira and she told him that she's already at the airport that made him relieved as he said that they needed to address the issue with Joy together. Joy was crying so she called Banjo and talked to him for hours and she told him that she just needed someone to comfort him and he said that he's just here willing to listen to her. Harvey went back from his trip to Madrid and Ava was very happy to welcome him again so he told her that he brought something for her and when she opened the gift, she was shocked when he bought her fave dress and he said that he wanted her to be happy for one time. Elena and Harvey had a talk at the garden and she asked him how's his trip and he said that he finally got the rest that he badly wanted since he got married and maybe now, he's ready to play as Ava's husband and she's glad that he finally had some peace of mind. Elena chose not to disclose what happened to Nino to make sure that he won't be bothered and she went back to the kitchen. Gerry told Joy that he wanna go to the mall with her and Belle as he'll buy them new clothes so she said yes and bought new things for themselves. Belle was glad that her uncle didn't forget about her so after they shopped, they ate at a resto and she thanked him for treating her like his child and Gerry said that he love her like how he love his younger sis and Joy hugged her dad as a sign that she wanna apologize on what she did and when she enter college, she'll make sure that she'll do her best to be a dean's lister. Sol went to her Mamu's house and she asked Win what's the new scoop and she said that Del wanna reopen the case as she got proof that Marga's last contact before the murder was Laura and if this will be proven at the court, Del will be free from the crime that she didn't do. Sol told her that she'll pray that Del will win her case as its been a year now since she was jailed on a crime that she didn't do. Harvey visited Sol's grave as he missed her so much and he apologized for what she did to Del and to his loyalty to the company as he was just being cornered on the situation but he'll do the best to end Laura and Ava's reign of terror. Laura went back to the farm and she told Oli that she need to go back as her yaya in her mansion with Lyka as it seems like only men worked in the farm so Oli said that if that's her way to abuse them again then so be it but she warned her that once she do again what she did to Rita. Laura told her that she's still here in her farm and she have all the right to do what she wanna do. Alvira is now back in PH after so many years and she called Gerry to say that she landed safely back to her home country and she wanna stay in a hotel first before they transferred to their new house. Gerry respected his wife's decision so he told Joy that they needed to go to the airport now as they'll welcome her mom as she arrived now. Alvira was glad that she went home after 17 years of being in the US and she remembered how painful it was to leave her life in PH especially leaving her daughter under the hands of her abusive ex-husband. Gerry and Joy arrived at the airport and Alvira missed Joy so much that she hugged her tightly and felt like its been years since they last saw each other.
