Chapter 8

After the shock of what just happened went away, Aoyama stood up. "Hello, I'm Yuga Aoyama. Ranboo I couldn't help but notice that you also wear a diamond ring, Are you also married? Cause you look a little young." he asked. Ranboo picked a spot on the ceiling and stared at it, avoiding Aoyama's stare.

"Yes, I'm married to Tubbo," Ranboo muttered, "As for our ages, I just turned 18 while Tubbo is 17." The whole room gasped, surprised.

"We did it for tax purposes," Tubbo chimed in.

"Yeah, um...King Erect raised the taxes, and um..it was either that or tax invasion."

"I wanted to evade the taxes, but Ranboo said no."

"Tubbo, he threatened to put you in jail, and you can't be president while in jail!." Ranboo said, turning to his small husband.

"Wait, did you just say he ran for president?" Todoroki asked.

"I didn't run for president," Tubbo stated. "I became president of L'manburg. Wilbur originally elected Tommy, but then he gave it to be, and the rest isn't important." The class just sat in shocked silence, imagining how someone so young could run a country alone. Tubbo just kind of kept talking through the silence. "It wasn't easy, and I did make a few mistakes, but honestly, it was fun."

"Yeah, sure, a few mistakes," Tommy said under his breath but still loud enough for everyone to hear.

Tubbo kept talking, pretending he didn't hear Tommy, "I wasn't even the first President of L'manburg; it was Schalt who was first, then...then...then November 16th happened and...." The SMP members seemed to have drifted off into deep thought at the mention of that date. Tommy let out a heavy sigh, "We fought for freedom, and yet you managed to lose everything," Tommy said, turning to Tubboo.

"I had to do it, Tommy, for the nation," Tubbo said quietly.

"What nation? The one that was fought for side by side, or the one you ran into the dirt like Jschlatt," Tommy said, approaching Tubbo.

"I'm nothing like him," Tubbo said, clenching his fist.

"You're right, Tubbo," Tommy said. "At least Schlatt could lead, unlike you, who would follow anyone's fucking commands." Tubbo turned towards Tommy, "I have already apologized hundreds of times, Tommy; how many more do you want!" Tubbo shouted.

Tommy got in Tubbo's face, "I want you to say that you were the worst fucking president L'manburg ever had."

"Fine, if that'll make you happy, I'll do it." Tubbo turned his back on the class and towards the other SMP members. "I, Tubbo, Ex-President of L'manburg, was 10 times worse than Schaltt, but at least I'm willing to admit when I was wrong instead of passing the blame off to someone else and calling them the bad guy.!"

"Maybe we should stop them. There's lots of bad blood between them," Uraraka suggested.

"No way this is way better than asking questions," Sero said.

Tommy walked towards Tubbo, his axe in his hand. This class started anticipating a fight as Tubbo also pulled out an axe, but Dream quickly intervened. "No, Tommy, he's not worth it," he said, grabbing the boy's arm. Tommy let out another heavy sigh and walked out of the classroom without another word, Dream following being. Once Tommy was gone, everyone put their eyes on Tubbo, who looked as if he was shaking from the adrenalin or the fear of fighting his friend. He put away his axe and sat down on the floor next to Ranboo, putting his knees in his face.

"Here, Tubbo, have some blue," Ghostbur said, giving Tubbo a lump of blue wool. Ghostbur then turned to the class, "Sorry about that. Tommy tends to get a little worked up."

"Ghostbur," Uraraka started, "Where are you guys from?"

"We come from an island very far from here; we call it the SMP," he explained.

Now it was time for Deku to shine, "I'm Izuku Midoriya, but everyone calls me Deku. Tommy said something about fighting for freedom. Is that why you guys are covered in scared, 'cause you were fighting against Schlatt?" Even though Deku's question came from a place of curiosity, it cut deep for the SMP members as they glanced at each other.

"um...well, I don't remember much from my time as Willbur, but I do know he cared about L'manburg even though he; lost his way at the end." Ghostbur said before Techno stepped. Despite being tired, Techno's voice was still one that commanded respect from those around him.

"Deku, was it?" Techno said, "Listen, we have all gone to war with each other, and we have all betrayed each other at some point, and that's all you need to know." The class once again fell silent as no one had or wanted to ask any more questions out of fear that it'll trigger another fight. Techno turned to his fellow SMP members, "Anyone has any questions?".

"I have one," Niki said, "What do you guys do around here?"

Ida stood up, "As class president, I would happily explain our weekly schedule to you," Ida then went on to explain how the scheduling works. Homeroom was first, then came history, then Home E.C., followed by Lunch, then Hero training or P.E., depending on the day, and finally, then Math. The SMP members groaned at the schedule, just thinking about how boring it was gonna be; that's when Tommy and Dream walked back in; the top of his shirt was soaking wet.

"Tommy, you just missed Ida's explaining the schedule but don't worry, I'll tell you later," Ghostbur whispered to Tommy.

"Thanks, Ghostbur," Tommy said.

"Here, have some blue," Ghsotbur said, giving Tommy some blue wool. Tommy smiled and took the wool happily. Then, without warning, the bell rang, sending the members into a panic. Ranboo and Charlie covered their ears as the sound was way too loud for them; the rest pulled out their weapons.

"Is there a raid?" George asked.

"Relax, that's the bell for next period," Asui said.

"Oh, you gotta be fucking kidding me. I'm ready to kick some ass," Tommy said, disappointed.

Aizawa then stood up, "Okay, enough talking, go sit in the back and please try to be quiet," he said.

The members walked the back of the room, sitting in little groups; an air of anger loomed over them. No one I class 1-A dared to speak of what happened for the rest of the morning.
