Chapter 43

(An hour before sunrise) 

Techno and Philza were hurriedly dressing Tommy in a suit when he started to wake up. "Huh?" Tommy said confused before realizing he was half naked. "WHAT THE HELL!" Tommy screamed causing Techno to cover his mouth quickly. 

"Tommy listen we don't have much time so here's a run down," Techno said. "You knocked yourself out with a bucket. Class 1A thinks Dream murdered you and now we have to hold a funeral before sunrise. This is what you need to do-" Before Techno could explain he felt something wet and slimy run across his hand causing him to pull it back from Tommy's mouth. "Do you just lick my hand?"

"I couldn't breathe man!" Tommy shouted.

Techno stared at his younger brother before pulling out a pickaxe, "I'm gonna turn this into a real funeral." 

Philza then quickly stepped in "We don't have time to fight," he said brushing white paint onto Tommy's face. "Done let's hurry and get the rest of the suit on so Sam can show you how the casket works." Tommy still in a bit of a daze walked downstairs and saw Sam, Foolish alone with Ant putting the finishing touches on the casket. 

"Tommy!" Sam said happily, "Are you okay does anything hurt?" 

"Just my head and the side of my face," Tommy said. 

"Makes sense Dream did stand on the side of your face," Ant said putting gold finishes on the box. 

"He what?" Tommy shouted angrily. "WHERE'S THAT FUCKER I"M GONNA KILL HIM!" 

That's when they heard a knock on the door, Sam quickly grabbed Tommy and threw him in the casket, "stay quiet" Sam said before shutting it. Deku then walked he smiled at Sam, Foolish and Ant before jumping back when he saw the casket. 

"Don't worry it's still empty we're just putting on the final touches," Ant said tiredly.  

"Oh me and the others wanted to know if it was okay for us to attend the funeral," Deku said nervously. 

"Let me go ask Phil I'll be right back," Ant then ran up the stairs and down the hall while Foolish and Sam continued working on the casket while Tommy tried to stay quiet. Soon Ant returned with Philza who was dressed in an all-black suit. 

"Hey, mate you called?" Philza said landing in front of him. 

"Me and the others want to join you for the funeral is that okay?" he asked

"Sure I don't see why not just be sure to be back here in twenty minutes."  

Deku nodded and rushed off to tell the others. Once the door shut Tommy threw open the casket. "WHAT THE HELL OLD MAN!" He screamed angirly. "NOW WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO HAVE ACTUAL FUNERAL." 

"Tommy keep your voice down," Philza said hitting him on the head. "Anyways Tubbo, Techno, Ghostbur, and I are just gonna say a few words and then you'll be buried." Tommy huffed but didn't argue as it was only going to be less than an hour.

Class 1A walked to the side of the house and saw the little funeral area that the SMP members had set up. Some were seated and others were around of coffin paying their respects. All of Philza's crows were scattered around watching as the funeral went on. The students got into the short line as well to give their condolences to Philza who was standing next to the casket. Once everyone got to see Tommy's body they all sat down as Philza began to speak. 

"Thank you, everyone, for coming to mourn the death of my adopted son, Thomas Gilbert Careful Danger Kraken Innit." Tommy wanted to sit up and yell at Philza for giving such a stupid middle name but he could and so had to suffer silently. "I know many of you may not have liked Tommy but he was still a child no older than 17 and it's a shame his life has been cut so short so quickly. I remember the day I found him and Tubbo alone in a box together, sadly abandoned by their families. Raising him was not easy but I wouldn't change my time with him for anything." Philza took a deep breath pulling out a tissue and whipping his face. "Now I'll pass the stage to my second oldest Techno," Philza then walked off the podium just as Techno walked up. 

"I found Tommy annoying at first when we were kids but he eventually grew on me. Even though he betrayed me multiple times took advantage of my kindness multiple times and nearly got me killed multiple times...but that's all in the past and I forgive him," Techno then stepped down. 

It was a good minute before Tubbo stepped up his eyes were red and puffy making it look as if he had been crying for hours. When in reality he had been cutting a tone of onions before this. "Tommy was more than a friend he was my brother. We fought beside each other in many wars and battles. Even when we were supported we found our way back to each other no matter what and...and..." Tears began to fall down Tubbo's face as he turned to the casket and just broke down placing his head on Tommy's chest and just wailing. "It should've been meeeeee that bastard will fucking pay I promise!" 

"Languege" Bad said quietly under his breath. 

Techno got up and pulled Tubbo back to his seat as he continued to cry loudly before finally quieting down so Ghostbur could do his speech. Ghostbur walked up there carrying his guitar, "I may not have all my memories anymore but the ones I have with Tommy are filled with pure joy. We fought together and stayed by each other side during both the wins and losses of battle, even after I died Tommy was there to greet me again. Now I know that some promised to never sing this again but I feel it's only fair since he helped write it while Sam and Foolish lower him down." Sam and Foolish got up and closed the casket while Ghostbur started playing his guitar. 

"I heard there was a special place, where men could go emancipate, the brutality, and tyranny of their rulers. Well, this place is real, you needn't fret, with Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, fuck Eret A very big and, a little bit blown up, L'Manberg. My  L'Manberg," Others began to join in and it quickly turned into a group song, even the crows were joining in. Class 1A just watched on crying as they heard the beautiful song for the first time, as the sun rose over the horizon brightening the once dark sky. Tommy was even able to hear them singing while he was being lowered into the hole, he even started mouthing the words as well.

Everyone then went silent once again before getting up and quietly dispursing. Class 1A was surprised that everyone could just get up and leave after such a beautiful moment. "That was so beautiful," Mina said whipping away her tears.  

"It was alright," Bakugo said turning away so the others couldn't see the dried tears on his face. 1A just continued quietly chatting among themselves while Sam and Foolish filled the hole with dirt. Philza came over, "Hey guys aren't you gonna go get ready for class?" 

"You guys still plan on attending class?" Asui asked. "Don't you wanna take the day to fully mourn or rest?" 

"Oh no everyone's heading off to bed but tomorrow we will the world doesn't stop just because someone dies," Philza said with his usual calming smile, before walking away ready to just sleep.

Hey it's been a while since I uploaded

Alright now that I had a chance to beat the horse let me explain what had happened. So the night that I posted the announcement I woke up couching uncontrollably to the point my lips turned blue. How do I know my lips were turning blue because my mom walked in after hearing me coughing out my lungs.  Long story short I went to the ER and was told I had a bad case of pneumonia, they placed me on heavy Antibiotics that made me extremely dizzy and nauseous. Luckily pneumonia has disappeared and I'm feeling much better now.

And I wanna say thank you for all the kind words and birthday wishes! Also don't forget to take care of yourselves cause you never know what can happen if you don't.
