Chapter 41

(Half an hour later) 

A police car pulled up to the school and a man with short black hair and a beige long coat with a same colored hat walked out. He approached Aizawa and Nezu who were both waiting for him. "EraserHead how are you?" The man said. 

"I'm fine thanks for coming on such short notice Detective Tsukauchi," Aizawa said shaking the man's hand. 

"Well it is my job," He said. "Anyways over the phone, you said there was a murder but you wanted me to come alone?" Aizawa then went on to explain the story behind how the SMP member suddenly appeared and how they have power different from quirks, then onto what happened between Tommy and Dream. 

Detective Tsukauchi wrote it all down not missing a thing, especially the child abuse parts. "Well I guess it's time to go speak to the visitors," He said. Aizawa and Nezu showed him to the mansion but he couldn't help but notice the giant barn. 

"Is that a barn?" Tsukauchi asked

"Yeah, they built it and put animals into it about a week ago," Aizawa said. "But I try not to think about it." 

"Where did they get the animals?"  

"I said I try not to think about it." 

"Aizawa and I stopped questioning things a long time ago," Nezu said 

They soon reached the mansion and walked inside immediately seeing Foolish working on the canceler. "Hello, Foolish is it okay if Detective Tsukauchi asks you some questions?" Nezu asked. 

"Sure as long as I get to continue working," Foolish said placing another piece of glass.

"I see no reason why you can't," Tsukauchi said stepping forward. "Did you see or hear anything around 8 pm?" 

"No, I only heard some screaming and glass being shattered," Foolish said.

"And you didn't think to check it out?" 

"Well, Techno wasn't feeling well so I just thought he broke a window," 

"How did you feel about Tommy?" 

Foolish shrunk down and met Tsukauchi at his height, "Honestly he was good even though he did mug me once, he didn't deserve to die. I do wish I had done something sooner but it's too late now I guess," He said sadness and regret dripping from his voice. 

"What about Dream?" 

"Dream? Well, we never really spoke to each other even now, but I have heard he's started many of the main conflicts around the land."

"Thank you Foolish have a goodnight," Detective Tsukauchi said walking away. 

The three men walked up the stairs while Foolish returned to working on the chandelier. Once upstairs they saw Sam and Philza standing next to Tommy's body, Detective Tsukauchi walked up to the blanket and lifted it seeing the young boy's body shaking his head at the horrible sight. 

He then turned to the winged man, "I'm sorry about your son," He said removing his hat.

"Thanks, Mate but I knew something like this was bound to happen," Phil said calmly. 

Before Tsukauchi had a chance to speak Sam went first, "If you knew this could happen why didn't you stop it!" He said coldly. 

Phil shrugged, "Tommy was stubborn he didn't like being saved unless it was on his own term. If I did save him he wouldn't feel confident in his ability to save himself for next time." 

"What could I expect from someone who helped Dream blow up a fucking country," Sam scoffed. "I wouldn't be surprised if you help him kill Tommy." 

Phil pulled his sword out and held it to Sam's neck, "You wanna say that again mate."
