Y/n POV:
I was delivering papers with my cat Meatball. She is an adorable stray kitten I found a couple of days ago.

She has green eyes, and soft fur. I found her in an alley way, she was curled up in a little ball. And that's why I decided to name her Meatball!

I don't know why somebody didn't take her in. But I'm glad I got to do it first. I'm the newest papergirl and and I honestly love delivering them.

I get my peace and quiet, space away from my bully of a big brother, and I get to spend I'm with Meatball.

While I was riding I passed a boy and his dog. But this caused me to run over a rock and fall face first. Meatball looked at me while sitting down.

The boy turned his bike around and asked if I was ok. I didn't answer him and instead I went to Meatball and started to check if she was ok.

I held her close and my eyes started watering. "Oh Meatball! Are you ok?" Meatball only meowed in response.

Only then did I notice the boy was there. "Oh, I'm sorry. I should get going now." I told him and started to pick up the newspapers.

"Let me help you with that." He said. We then started to pick up the papers together. Our animals did nothing but look at us while we were picking them up.

Once we were done he told me his name. "My name is Billy Showalter!" I looked at him. "My name is Y/n Y/l/n." I told him.

"That's a beautiful name!" He said. "And I'm guessing your cat's name is Meatball?" "T-that's correct..." I said while blushing.

He was really pretty. Like model type pretty.
He could be on the cover of magazines if he really wanted to. So why is he a paperboy?

"Umm earth to Y/n?" He asked, his hands waving over my face. I soon snapped out of my trance that he put me in and blushed.

"Sorry I should get back to delivering these papers..." I told him while putting Meatball back in my basket. "Can we hang out some time? Like maybe on Saturday at the grab-n-go?" He asked me.

"Yeah!" I said while riding away. "Bye Billy!" "Bye Y/n! See you around!" He yelled out.

Billy POV:
"Bye Y/n! See you around!" I yelled out to her. I then got back on my back bike and got ready to deliver my set of papers with Rover. Little did she know I made it a date.

Weekends!

It was not Saturday and I was at the grab-n-go waiting for Y/n. "Hey Billy!" She said and I turned around.

She looked gorgeous. "Wow Y/n! You look so pretty!" "T-thank you..." She said while blushing. We sat down at a table and started talking. She talked about things she loved and so did I.

"I really love science. Its just so mesmerizing that the world takes 365 days to rotate the sun!" She looked so happy.

"Yeah!!! I really love skittles. Like it's the most delicious candy ever." I told her.

While we talked more it started to get dark. "Oh, I should get home. My brother is probably wondering where I am right now." She said and we got up.

We walked out of the grab-n-go and started to walk to her house. When we got there, he looked at me. "Thank you for today." She kissed my cheek and hugged me.

I obviously hugged back and hissed her on her cheek. She then walked inside and I left walking back to my house. 'I can't wait to tell Rover about today!!!' I thought.
