Whitney’s POV-

My eyes fluttered open. I groaned from the soreness in my neck. After Toby had rocked me to sleep I’d had two more nightmares. My hair was going in so many directions it was insane and my face was streaked with dried sweat and tears.

Pulling the covers off of me I made my way to the bathroom. I could hear Toby snoring from the living room so I tried to be as quiet as I could. Shutting the door behind me I started rummaging through the cupboards to try and find a hair brush of comb. I wrinkled my nose in confusion at some of the items I found in some of the drawers.

“Why do you have a fork in a drawer with your toothbrush?” I asked aloud. I was so confused but eventually found an old comb. I wrestled with my hair for what seemed like forever but finally got it to lay slightly flat.

Then, after grabbing a new Tobuscus shirt and my cargo shorts plus a towel from Toby’s room, I quick hopped into the shower. I hated to think what my hair might do after I used Toby’s shampoo but I used it any way.

Getting out, I wrapped the towel around me and picked up the comb to try and get a new knot out of my hair that had formed while I was in the shower. I jumped when the door to the bathroom opened.

“What the frick do you think you are doing?!” I screamed at Toby. He still looked sleepy but that was slowly leaving as he realized that I was only in a towel.

“I’m so sorry Whitney.” Toby said hastily as he backed out of the bathroom and closed the door. I sighed and quickly finished getting dressed. Once I was done I opened the door, tossing my dirty clothes in Toby’s room as I passed and made my way to the kitchen for breakfast.

Toby was standing sheepishly at the stove making what looked like scrambled eggs. He didn’t even look in my direction as I walked to the sink and poured myself a glass of water. Toby didn’t once look at me even after he had handed me my plate of eggs and sat down.

“Toby. Its ok, there wasn’t anything to see.” I tried to explain. This was really awkward. I didn’t want to be having this conversation but this needed to be cleared up now or it would be a forever awkward blemish in our relationship.

“I know. I just… I should have known you weren’t ready that soon after the water had shut off.” He replied as he finished eating.

We parted ways at some point, him taking over the bathroom for a little bit while I finished getting ready in front of the mirror in the living room. These were the times I thanked my over packing tendencies because I had thought to brink my small makeup kit in my backpack that I had brought to VidCon.

Despite my attempts at clearing the awkward air between us, there were still those guilty looks from Toby that told me that he hadn't forgotten. At about nine o' clock we were walking to Toby's car, headed back to VidCon. We got in at the same time and I quickly buckled my seat belt.

"You have got to get over this, Toby." I insisted. He had been going for the keys to start the car but instead he paused.

"It was a stupid mistake that shouldn't have happened." He complained loudly. I hardened my jaw in defiance. He needed to get his boy brain around the fact that I don't blame him and that as long as it was an honest mistake then I didn't have an issue with it.

"Listen. Did you do it on purpose?" I asked. I knew he hadn't but this issue was going to be resolved one way or another.

"No! Of course not!" He protested.
