"I love this dress, I want that." Maria pointed out a pink flowy dress that she wanted so badly for the party, the dress would look on her so angelic and beautiful like a flower. Tomorrow is the final party for Roman retirement after being in the army for 5 years. There will be so many guests as the grand arrival of the General, who will be at the party.

"What do you think about this dress, Manelle?!" The little girl exclaimed in front of me as she waved the dress.

"I think you will look perfect in this dress." I told her as she twirled around with the dress on her body, imagining it. It made me remember my past when we didn't have the luxury of buying pretty dresses.

"What are you thinking about, Manelle?" Matteo asked as he looked at his sister with adoration in his eyes, I chuckled.

"I thought about how you will react when Maria will have a boyfriend."

"She won't have a boyfriend!" He gasped and turned to me with a shocked face.

"You will let her have a boyfriend when she will hit the teenage years." I rolled my eyes and looked at the dresses, wondering what I will wear for the party.

"Roman already ordered a dress for you." Matteo said and I let go of the racks.

He knows better in the fashion industry and what colour matches my tone as well, so I always let him choose the dresses. He also chose the colour of my prom dress for senior, I know him as much as he knows about me.

"What am I doing here then?" I asked.

"To choose Maria's dress and not make me look like I'm shopping with my daughter." I laughed when he said that, nobody would mistake Maria for his daughter because he looks young enough to be a father.

"You're not old to be someone's daughter." I chuckled, Maria came out of the trying-out section and held the dress preciously.

"You found the dress?" Matteo crouched down to match her height, she nodded happily and he lifted her up, putting her against his hips.

"That's perfect, let's buy it." He said as he held his black car while winking at me, I rolled my eyes and took the card to go over to the cashier's side, she looked at us while scanning the dress.

"You guys are a beautiful couple!" She said and I froze, Matteo was about to say the other thing but Maria cut him.

"Yes! This is my mommy and my daddy!"She hugged him tightly Matteo who had his eyes widened, I turned around if any bodyguard heard her, fortunately, no one heard her.

"It was a joke, she's my future sister-in-law." Matteo laughed nervously and I did the same, the woman laughed as well as she put the dress inside the bag.

"Have a nice day." She bowed down and we got out of the shop, I gave the bag to the bodyguard who took it from me.

"Stop saying this in front of everyone, Roman will be very angry with you." Matteo put her down, she laughed loudly enough to catch everyone's attention.

"We need to go and get your dress." He said to me and I nodded.
