"You guys are fucked up in your mind." I muttered slowly, my eyes fixed on the decomposed body of General Marshall still seated on the chair. His lifeless head hung limply, blood trickling down his Adam's apple. Despite my disdain for him, I couldn't shake the feeling that he didn't deserve this fate.

Driven by curiosity and a need to confirm their claims, I had insisted on accompanying Roman to the lower levels of the warehouse—the dungeons where Jay and Luca were there, holding gruesome torture tools. The shock on their faces was evident when the elevator doors opened, revealing me standing there.

"Tina is here?!" Jay exclaimed, visibly frustrated and alarmed at the thought of his girlfriend witnessing them with those horrifying tools. Little did he know that she was watching us through the security cameras, refusing to subject herself to real-life bloodshed and pungent odour.

Roman's office provided her a remote view of the video feed, enabling her to observe the aftermath of the gruesome actions without experiencing it firsthand. While I had been curious enough to witness the consequences, Tina wisely chose not to expose herself to such horrors in real life.

"Why haven't you get rid of the corpse?" I asked him and he stared at me before answering me, probably wondering if I should be scared of him or not.

But I'm not, I mean that guy is someone so arrogant and he probably did some unethical actions toward the humanity, Roman wouldn't kill anyone who is innocent, it goes beyond his morals.

I know him, just like he knows me.

"Hm, I wanted to show it to you before getting rid of it." He let out a grin, a grin that looked cheeky on the outside but evil on the inside.

"So it makes you smile when I'm shit-scared." I snapped at him and he chuckled, making me confused.

"Obviously, since you would only come back to me running when you're scared." He shrugged and I have the urge to throw a punch toward his pretty, handsome face but I considered that it wasn't worth to ruin bruise my knuckles.

"What do we do with him?" Luca remarked as he crossed his buffed arms against his chest, all of them have a strong, muscular body even though Luca and Roman bodies were trained to be an army soldier.

But Roman's body, has this kind of exception that makes it special. The sunkissed skin always glowing under the sun, slightly lean and large shoulders with abs that are luscious.

"I've been calling you for a while. What made you think so hard while staring at my body?" Roman pulled me out of my head, nonchalant.

I gulped, "You're too delusional," I rolled my eyes at him.

He grabbed my cheeks and leaned in close to touch his nose with mine, caught me off guard.

"Roll your eyes again and I will make you roll your eyes to the point where you will see those goddamn stars." He gritted in between his teeth, sternly. I nodded, feeling that he didn't like the disrespect.

"I still don't trust you, I really think you could be the one who could've burned the house." I shrugged, expressing my feelings. I still had doubts on him.

"Okay, little lady, why do you think it's me?" He mumbled softly, closing the metallic door from us. There were only us in the dark room of the so likely a prison, I began to feel a lot more anxious to be alone with him in this dark piece of the warehouse.

"Because you don't want me to leave you, so you erase all type of possibilities for me to leave you." I pointed this at him, focusing my eyes on his hazel eyes that are so perfect, I really love his eyes.
