[ Simon ]

Today's the day.

I have the gun tucked away in my jacket. Gordo isn't here with me. I don't want him to see this. She's leaving the cafe now.

I waited patiently for her. She's even an average walker. Not to fast and not too slow. I stepped out and she slammed into me.

I reached down and grabbed her as she started to fall. With my other hand I reached for my gun. One of her hands caught my jacket.

Her coffee is on the ground. It's spilt all over her heels.

"Oh my god... I'm so sorry." She stood up and I pulled my hand away from the gun. "Are you ok?" She's even more beautiful in person.

I watched her y/e/c eyes scan my body for a moment before trailing back up to my face. "I'm... I'm fine. Thank you. I'm sorry for hitting you. I should watch where I'm going."

I shook my head and smiled. "My fault. You going somewhere or can I get you another coffee?" She looked down at the cup on the ground then back up at me.

"The coffee shop I like is right there so... Sure." She bent down and picked up the cup off the ground. I followed her as she walked back to the cafe.

I can't believe I didn't fucking do it. All I needed to do was one shot to the stomach and she'd fucking bleed out. What the fuck Simon?

I stood behind her in line now. People are staring. I'm towering over her. I hate this.

"Hey... I dropped my coffee so just my usual please." The cashier at the front stared at me as he put her order in. I reached into my pocket and grabbed my wallet.

His eyes widened as he looked from me to her then back to me. "I didn't know you were seeing someone..." he mumbled sadly.

"What? No! He and I... I just bumped into him." She frantically corrected.

That caused a small ping in my chest. What's that feeling... I don't care to know. Ignore it Simon. You knew it would never actually happen.

I handed my card over to the guy. "Do you think you can give me a ride to work? I'm going to be a little late now." She looked up at me.

"I... My car is actually broken down. I'll walk with you though."

Walk with her? What kind of bullshit offer is that?

She smiled a little and shrugged. "Sure."

Sure?

The guy handed her coffee to her and tossed my card back to me. I looked down at it then back at him. Did this scrawny fuck really just do that?

Relax Simon...

I grabbed it and followed Y/n out of the shop. She's walking faster now. "I'm Y/n, by the way."

"Simon." Her speed walking is my normal pace. That's cute.

"Where are you from Simon?"

I smiled and shrugged. "Manchester, England."

"That's so cool... Why're you here?" She took a sip of her coffee and looked up at me. "Work." I looked up at the road we're about to cross.

I stopped as cars rushed past but Y/n was still looking at me. I grabbed her before she stepped in the street. A car honked as it sped by.

She put a hand on her chest and stepped back. "Holy shit... Thank you." I sighed and nodded. "I'm usually paying attention-"

"Are you ok?" I held her shoulder softly. She must be so scared. Y/n stared at me for a moment before taking a deep breath.

"Yes. Thank you."

I nodded, taking my hand off of her shoulder.

. . .

I stood outside the door with Y/n. "Sorry for bumping into you and thank you for saving my life."

I shrugged and looked down at her. She has a nice bit of cleavage showing. It's attractive.

"It was my fault. I bumped into you."

Y/n smiled then looked inside. "Um... Well I have to go so... Maybe we'll run into each other again. You know where to find me." She winked and walked inside.

I stood there in shock for a moment.

What?

Wait. Wait, what was that?

I turned and looked around aimlessly for a second.

Holy fuckkkk...

I need to go sit down.
