It was supposed to drop on the 16th but I lost motivation + couldn't work on it for accessibility reasons (couldn't get onto Wattpad at school/writing is torture on Xbox/laptop is outta commission till the K and L keys are cleaned and replaced/mobile is locked up and mom forgot the password to the safe/can't use the internet on Nintendo Switch/today is my grandma's birthday/and somehow also my teacher's/it's like -40° out and I'm not really in the mood to work on anything/etc) TT^TT

"...Happy birthday to you~!" The band sang enthusiastically as Gregory sat at the table, smiling. His blue party hat, covered in silver glitter and with green tassels, shimmered in the lights. Even Roxy was grinning at him, which was rare because Gregory had never seen Roxy smile at anything but her reflection. Everyone seemed to be having fun.
He had now been living at the Pizzaplex for one year, with permission from the staff members to hang out wherever he pleased during the day and sleep with Glamrock Freddy in his green room during the night. Vanessa had finally come to accept her new younger brother, and the STAFF bots were programmed to make security exceptions for him. He was even given a unique identification badge that would allow him to go wherever he wanted whenever—as if he'd needed it.
Even Sunrise, the daytime daycare attendant, was at the party. Sun had forbidden Gregory from returning to the Superstar Daycare because he had accidentally turned off the lights by sneaking behind the security desk. Turning off the lights caused Sun to turn into their corrupted, evil counterpart, Moondrop, who promptly attempted to kill Greg. Fortunately, after freeing Vanessa from Glitchtrap and purging him from the Pizzaplex entirely, it was found that Moon was simply under his control and was only trying to kill Greg under Glitch's orders. Moon was rather friendly when they weren't bloodthirsty! So, after informing Sun about the mishap and unbanning Greg from the Daycare, they became friends and now hung out often.
As soon as the clapping and cheering ended, Chica was the first to give Gregory his gift. It was a pizza pass, handcrafted by the hen herself, supposedly some kind of coupon to feast with the chicken. Gregory smiled gently, a bit confused and sure he'd never use it and stuffed it in his pocket.
Then was Monty. His gift was a little more... Showy. It was a giant toy gun with foam bullets. "I know you liked shooting that faz-gun, so I got you a real one," he explained.
"It's epic!!" Gregory yelled and immediately shot it at a can of Fizzy Faz, causing it to erupt and send soda all over the room. Monty grinned. He was glad they became friends because this kid was a menace and he liked it.
For the last public gift that would be given, Roxy gave him a notebook that said "The EPIC Diary for BOYS ONLY!!." Gregory, not appreciating this, faked a smile and waited for Roxy to leave him alone. Not much longer later, after the cake had been eaten and the party had been cleaned up, Gregory excused himself and went to the bathroom. Normally, Freddy would follow him at least to the door, to make sure he could find it and was okay to be in the big room alone, but Greg asked to be left by himself this time.
"After all, I'm a big kid now," he said. "I don't need supervision to go the bathroom." Freddy nodded and let him go.
Once he was alone, Greg darted into the stall and let his tears fall. He had had a big secret to tell the others; today was the day he would have told them all. Why did he chicken out? He was a weak kid, he couldn't do it by himself. What was he thinking? Not to mention the others thought he was such a baby he couldn't even go to the bathroom alone. Freddy followed him in for goodness' sake! He knew the bear was protective, but really?
