Melissa and Henry Moore (random names) were two normal people who married each other on the 1st October 1987.
Ever since then, they dreamed of having a little Demon running around their home. They lived in a cute little village not far- but still far enough away from the city.
However, as I said before, they oh so badly wanted a little child. Yet they were not able to get one.
This was until their second wedding anniversary. The 1st October 1989. It was just the two of them. Henry had cooked for his wife while also giving her a lot of attention and cute little presents.
They both had taken the day off of work. They had a stressful year and barely had any time for each other. So they spent the whole day together. Giving each other cute presents and a lot of attention. They read books together and then talked about those books.
That was until the twelve hour of the day. Melissa and Henry were just cuddling on the couch, watching the fire's flames dance in the fireplace, as Melissa suddenly got very hurtful cramps in her lower stomach.
It only got worse and worse. It moves all over her abdomen. Looking down, they both saw Melissa's stomach growing. Like something was growing in there.
They both panicked, screamed, and didn't know what to do.
Henry made the first step and took his wife into their bathroom. Knowing that if what he thought what was going to happen was going to happen, it would be better and cleaner in the bathroom. He didn't want his wife to get infected or something.
While moving to the bathroom, he noticed his wife starting to bleed. So he hurried up.
Melissa started screaming and automatically laid on her back with her knees, and her elbows helped steady her. She started pushing, it all happened by her body's own doing.
Henry assisted her. He took off her pants and underwear and started to lead her through her 'labor'.
He did not know how this could work. She was comfortable with a flat stomach a second ago, and the next second, she was pressing something out of her.
He told her that everything would be alright as he, at the same time, could already see something coming out of her.
Around 10 more minutes of pushing, Henry pulled a little girl out of his wife. She has given birth.
After cleaning up and making sure everything is alright, Melissa and Henry sat in the bathroom together, discussing what was going to happen now.
"We need to keep her safe. Let'smove out of here." Melissa suggested.
Henry nodded. "My mother had this little house in the middle of the woods. It's like a safe house. We can go there."
And so they did. They moved into Henry's family's safe house. It was in the middle of the woods where no one could find them.
They lived there peacefully. They didn't have to worry about anyone wanting to steal their miracle child or anyone hurting them at all.
They were happy and everything was going great in their life's.
That was until their little miracle, Valerie Moore, turned 4 years old.
Melissa and Henry left Valerie with her grandmother alone as they were going to the mall to get new clothes for all of them and, of course, new groceries.
It was a normal day at the mall. Not too few people and also not too many people.
And then there was a group of 5. They had masks on and weapons in their hands.
They yelled for everyone to get down. It was a Hostage situation. They threatened the police to shoot some of the Hostages if they should interfere.
Henry, and now this will sound like some cliche movie where a robbery happens, tried to talk to the robbers. Told them that he and his wife had a child at home.
The leader of the group yelled at him and shot him. Hearing Melissa scream and cry loudly, he shot her too.
Almost 16 hours after the robbery, Valerie's grandmother found out that her son and daughter-in-law were killed at the mall along with 7 other people.
So she took it in her own hand and raised Valerie as much as she could. Which was not long.
On Valerie's fifth birthday, the old woman died out of natural causes.
It was the first time Valerie's powers took over. While Valerie was crying, her guts out, they moved her grandmother outside and, as best as they could, buried her.
From then on, her Powers were Valerie's company.
She was alone. The only other company she had were the ghosts she casually saw.
She reassured herself that someone was there with her by writing 'You're not alone'and 'They are here'on the wall. That way, she did not go insane.
She ate berries and other things that grew in nature. For years, that has been her food along with water from a nearby lake. Occasionally, she would eat animals that she, with the help of her powers, killed.
In colder times, she made a fire with the help of her powers so she could warm herself up.
A month before her tenth birthday, six children with superpowers came into her house while she was slowly losing her mind in her old bathroom.
But I don't want to rush this whole story.
Let's just say she can be lucky to be saved by the six Umbrella Academy Children.
And now... let us begin the story of Valerie Moore and how she started into her new life.
