Mal: Once upon a time, long, long ago... well, more like 20 years ago... Bell married her Beast, prince Adam, in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks... basically all the really interesting people... and he booted them off to the Isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood. No magic. No Wi-Fi. No way out. Or so I  thought. Hang on, your about to meet us. But first this happened.

Auradon; Beast Castle

The son of the Beast and Belle, Ben was getting his suit tailored for his coronation in the next coming month. He was soon to turn 16 and exactly one month later crowned king.

Ben felt his throat tighten at the thought of convincing his parents what his future princess decided. He was hesitant to agree but eventually he caved in.

Man: Sleeve. Head. Ah-ha

Beast: How is it possible that you are going to be crowned king next month? Your just a baby!

King Adam smiled as he waltzed into the room with his wife, who had a proud smile on her face as she marched towards her son.

Belle: He's turning 16, dear.

Belle defended, her smile never faltering as her gaze turned to her husband.

Ben: Hey, pops.

Ben smiled nervously as he remembered what Audrey wanted, he wiped his hands together. His tailor clears his throat as Ben snapped back into position. He watched his parents with a nervous smile.

Adam: 16? Sent a cocky grin to his wife as she flurried around the room, gathering the different fabrics scattered about. That's far to young to be crowned king. I didn't make a gods decision until I was at least- He paused for a moment, placing a thoughtful finger on his chin as he pretended to calculate the years. Forty-two

Belle: Uh, you decided to marry me at 28.

Belle pointed out, scolding her husband as she founded the fabric and placed it on the trunk at the foot of Ben's bed

Adam: Ah, it was either you or the teapot. Foolishly joked, earning a light smack from his wife

Ben laughs

Adam: Kidding

The queen did not look impressed as she turned away from her Beast she loved and continued folding, needing something to do with her hands to keep her engaged with the conversation

Ben took a deep breath and pushed his nerves to the side as he watched his parents interact

Ben: Mom, Dad...

Ben tried took take a step down as the tailor was placing a pin mark on the hem

Man: Ah! Nn-nnh

Ben cleared his throat nervously as he readjusted his stance to accommodate the man working on his outfit

Ben: Audrey talked to me and convinced me that for my first official proclamation to give the children of the Isle of the lost a chance to live here in Auradon

Adam and Belle shocked. Belle squeaked and dropped the fabric she was folding as her Brian ran rampant with chaos she envisioned

When looking out to the Island it's liked we abandoned them.

Ben stepped off the podium he was standing on, effectively ruining the tailor's handiwork to move closer to his parents

Adam: The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?

Adam interrogated, his brown eyes narrowing at his son

Ben stored up straighter, trying his hardest not to crack under pressure of his father's gaze. If he wanted to prove he could be king, he had to adapt and accept change.

Ben: She thought we could  start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I agreed with her and we've already chosen them.

Adam: You two did?

Belle interjected, not standing hypocrisy towards there own son.

Belle: I gave you a second chance.

She turned back to her son and smiled warmly at him, taking his hands in her own to show support who are there parents?

Ben: We each choose two, I decided Cruella De Vil and Jafar's sons wile Audrey thought to invite the Evil Queen and Maleficent's daughters.

As Ben listed each one off his father gave a nod as Ben continued they started making worried looks till Ben said Maleficent

Adam: Maleficent! She's the worst villain in the land

Ben: Dad, just here me out here!

Adam: I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes.

Ben: Audrey didn't think so, she believes the children are innocent. Besides it would be our fault if something bad happened since we are just assuming. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?

Adam stayed silent as he stayed stoic, his frame frozen in his offensive position

Ben started to retreat into himself wishing Audrey came to help convince his parents, his confidence wavering

Ben: Dad?

Adam sighed and pushed his glasses before clearing his throat.

Adam: I suppose their children are innocent

Ben let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and grinned at his father, eyes lighting up

Adam let out a huff of defeat and stalked away without so much as a glance behind his wife and son

Belle rushed over to her son and started to straighten out his unfinished jacket

Belle: We'll, well done. Shall we?

Belle smiled before placing a kiss on her son's forehead then  turned around to rushed after her husband who already stormed off
