A/n: Hello Cal here I will go on ahead and say this is my first fanfic so idk how well this is going to be but I hope yall enjoy!!!! :) I've also added a song and I'll tell you when to listen too it!!! I hope you all have an amazing day or night.
Sapnaps pov from the past:
Sapnap was currently curled up on the couch in the hospital with his father. His father had cancer currently this was his second time with it. He was currently 17 at this time. He spent as much with his father as he could before he passed. "I love you so much Dad..." he choked out as he had tears going down his cheeks "I love you too so much kiddo I promise you I'm not going anywhere anytime soon you should go home and get some sleep." Sapnaps father said softly to him as he put his hand on Nick's shoulder. Nick nodded "Yeah I can do that Dad I love you I hope you sleep well and I'll come see you tomorrow I promise..." he said softly and he went home
Sapnaps Pov in current time:
Nick was currently 20 it had been 3 years since his father passed due to cancer. He teared up as he remembered that memory that being the last time he'd seen his father alive was that night."fuck stop crying..." he said softly to himself as he wiped away his tears. He couldn't stop crying and he decided to listen to music. Nick grabbed his earbuds hooked them up to his phone and he went onto Spotify and pulled up the song "Daddy issues by the neighborhood" (here's where you play the song btw!!!). He felt oddly comforted by that song and started to sing to it "Go ahead and cry little girl no body does it like you. I know how much it matters to you." and he cried as he sang it. Nick didn't care if his now roommate dream heard him crying or singing he was letting it all out and not bottling up his emotions anymore.
Dreams pov:
Dream was currently chilling out in his room laying on his bed. He was scrolling through Twitter and liking fan art as he saw it in his feed that was until he heard Nick crying. Dream locked his phone and set it down on his bed sitting up and getting off his bed walking to his door. When reached Nick's room he knocked on the door and he heard a small come in from Nick. He opened the door and gave a small smile and wave "Hey buddy what's going on?" he asked softly and he walked in nicks room closing the door behind him.
Nick took his earbuds out and paused his music and looked up at dream "Just memories from my dad I'll be alright..." he said gently as he wiped away his tears. Dream came over to Nick and sat down next to him on his bed. "do you need hugs?" he held his arms out. Nick nodded and he felt the younger boy hug him tightly. Dream hugged him back just as tightly and was rubbing his back. "Hey its gonna be okay your dad isn't in pain anymore and I know he's proud of you." he said gently and sweetly to Nick. Sapnap nodded and smiled "Yeah that's true I hope I'm making him proud..." he sniffled a little "Can I maybe have some cuddles?" he asked softly him loving cuddling but for now it was platonic. Clay (Dream) nodded "Yeah of course." he pulled Sapnap close to his body and laid them down as he rubbed shapes into Nick's back.
Sapnaps pov:
Sapnap gently smiled as he cuddled into the older male. He nuzzled his face into Clays chest as he rubbed his back. " You doing better?" Clay asked softly. "Mhm." Sapnap hummed out.
A little bit later Sapnap had fallen asleep in Dreams arms he felt very comforted and safe with him. Dream was still awake he continued to cuddle him and started to play with the brunettes hair as he slept "sleep well Sappy boy." he whispered to him. Dream had also fallen asleep still cuddling Sapnap.
Sapnap had finally woken up around 9am he checked his phone and groaned thinking to himself 'it's so early I normally sleep till 12 but I can't go back to sleep.' he shook his head and set his phone down. He noticed Clay was still asleep and he was still cuddling him which caused a soft blush to creep up onto his cheeks.
Sapnap an hour later after scrolling on Twitter and tiktok decided to finally get up and make the two breakfast. He gently got up trying not to wake up Clay. He kept downstairs to the kitchen. 'hmmm what should I make for us to eat?' he thought to himself as he looked in fridge and cupboards. He decided to make the two a big breakfast which consisted of French toast, eggs, and toast.
Dreams pov: Clay finally woke up. He noticed Nick was missing, he looked confused and decided to get dressed into some blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt he also put on a beanie that had the cat ears (Pic below). Once he got dressed he headed downstairs and saw Nick making breakfast, to which Nick noticed Clay "morning sleepy head." he teased clay "Oh fuck off I didn't even sleep that long but morning..." he grumbled to the younger male.

Once breakfast was done the two sat down and ate. Clay smiled at Nick "Thanks for breakfast it was good. I can clean the dishes once you're done eating." he smiled a bit more. Nick nodded and smiled "Yeah I'm done eating but thanks I appreciate it!" he smiled at Clay and patted his back "Hey I'm gonna go stream if you need me." Nick called as he walked back upstairs. Clay nodded and smiled "Alright have fun!" he called back. He got up and started working on the dishes.
A/n hello it's Cal again but holyshit I got 1,020 words on this first chapter but this is the end of the first chapter I hope you all enjoyed it!!!!
