The Gem's Vessel

Chapter 1

Swords clanking sounds, blood all over on the ground,  bodies of death soldiers on the ground, shields and swords dead on the bloody grass.

A manly voice chuckles at such a young woman, who tried to stand up from the bloody field, the eyes of the woman glows with yellow eyes. "Oh, look at you. Weak, worthless and useless. Where's your sister, Ambriel? Oh wait, they're dead. Poor you, can't even try to defeat me and barely can save your dear old dead sister! Your other sister betrayed you by being on my side, because she knows i'm powerful than you are! You're alone now, Ambriel. I'm gonna kill you with your blood all over you and you'll beg for mercy!" The man laughs before he launched on Ambriel, stabbed her on the stomach, kicks all over her body. The man smirks as he speak "You'll see your little sister soon with no heart and burn into ashe—"

"Hey! Wake up, you're sweating like it's a very hot weather! You're having a nightmare?" Angelin shook Amber's body to wake her up. It's been a few weeks after they explored the abandoned cave, they've been having good days unusually. They are weirded out when they found out people starting to get their talent in their working place. Angelin gets kind gestures from her boss, Mr Wollum, who used to be arrogant. Amber gets a promotion by her boss because they finally realized of her working hard for the place, she's the reason why the place is getting more and more customers. Ashlee, well, she's the owner of her own workshop, which she sells her used books are now sold out, which surprised her since the book are barely popular in the country. So you could say it's...weird.

Amber mumbles "Well yeah, what the hell do you expect?" She sits up on her bed, grabs her phone to look at the time. Angelin looks at her worriedly, she knows about this weird thing that has been happening since the three of them meet. Yes, they're not really sisters, just elementary school friends but they soon had an idea for them to called each other sisters. Because of how weird they are. They're insperable, they can't go on a day without one getting worried for the two of them, and when i say two, it's mostly Amber and Ashlee. Angelin may be the youngest one but she's more responsible compare to them, she's rarely childish. Pft.

Angelin rolls her eyes, goes out of the cold room before seeing Ashlee almost burned an egg. Yes. An egg. Angelin's eyes widen at the sight then runs to Ashlee's side, grab the pan with the almost burnt egg and put it in the sink. She then turned on the water to cool down the tempature of the pan, smokes everywhere in the kitchen.

Amber smells the atmosphere, sighs at the nth time. This is happening almost 3 days per week. Amber then heard a voice shouted; "How the fuck did you almost burnt an egg!? It is the simplest thing to cook! Damn! The pan is now ruined!" another voice shouts "Well, be glad i am not Amber! At least i didnt try to burn the house twice!"

Walking to the kitchen, Amber glares at the both of them, especially Ashlee, who dared to assume her trying to burn the house down. Not once. But twice. Amber sneers "Ashlee, dare to accused of me almost burning the house down twice?! Fuck you. Anyways, Angelin, just order a takeaways. I'll pay. To say sorry for almost burnt the house down!" Angelin chuckles at Amber, happy that they're ordering takeaways instead of her cooking early in the morning. Meanwhile, Ashlee scoffs at Amber, but slightly ammused by her.

After then order the takeaways, Angelin goes to her room. Well, oddly enough, she's been a little quieter than these few days. Stressed? Tired? Well no, it is just her mimd filled with questions about the chest and gems they found inside the cave. It has been bothering her for a few days, so maybe today, she's trying to do a research about those gems. She sat down on her chair, her desk filled with papers that has been sent by her collage friend, Farah. Angelin asked for Farah to get some research about the cave. Angelin pick up the paper, read it one by one.

"The  Mysterious Cave in Leve-Land

This cave was opened 20 years ago, closed 10 years ago. Visitors stopped going there on 2009 due to some people said they saw shadows inside the cave while exploring, and a miner tried to dig up something inside the cave, which was forbidden. The acknowledgement of the cave is unknown, not even a single clue could be found and its name is unknown. This cave could be haunted as what the founder, Cinopi Kalander says: "Since the day i've found this cave in the middle of a rainforest, i've never seen anything weird. But hearing those visitors who was traumatized because they've seen a shadow with red eyes standing on a certain place, either growling or searching for a thing that belong to them. We have to keep this cave close for a futher investigation."
