Chapter 2

It has been a few days since they've talked as they're getting busy and busier because of their busy job. Angelin with her assisting her new kind boss, Ms Nisha. Amber with her part-time job, being a waitress and busy is understandable but always try to talk to the both of her sisters whenever she gets free time. Ashlee, well, she's now working at a bookshop, which is her dream, Ashlee would bring Angelin to the bookshop sometimes whenever Angelin is free. Well, Amber is also included, of course!

Angelin's POV:

"Ms. Llivan, the CEO wants to see you." A co-worker of mine said, smiling at me as i did it back. Ugh, i miss the both of them, i haven't spend most of my time with them. It's always my job, job, job, work, work, work blah blah. I wonder how they are right now. I snapped back into reality as i remembered that the CEO wants to see me.

I walk out of my office and get inside an elevator to get to Ms. Killins's office. I saw a weird person standing inside the elevator, i awkwardly bow to the person and asks: "Have you been here before? I've never see you here before. May you introduce yourself? I'm Angelin Llivan" before i could take my hand out for them to shake, they looked at me, shocked. Those eyes...it look...so familiar. Wait, what?! I've never seen them before.

While we're still keeping our eye contact, the elevator dinged as it arrives at the 12th floor. I broke the eye contact first and say sorry to the person before i quickly walk to the office of Ms Killins's. I noticed the person still is following me, i walk a little slower to sense if they're really is following me or is going to Ms killins's office with me.

And... They're following me.

Shit! Am i gonna die?!

I knocked the door a little loud, feeling anxious as the ladder is meters away from me. I quickly entered as i heard a faint 'come in'. I didn't noticed that i was panting hard and unaware that my boss is glancing at me worriedly, she stands up and walks up to me.

"Hey, Angelin, you alright there?" A voice softly spoke infront of me. I flinched at her touch on my shoulder. She's freaking put her hand on my shoulder. "Y-yeah.. I'm alright. There's just a strange person out there. Following me." As soon as i said someone is following me, She looks at me, gasps. She grabs my face as she tries to scan my face. My face was flustered but she didn't mind that and sighs in relief as she didn't see any scratches on my face.

She looks at me seriously, even if she's shorter than me, hehe. "You stay under of my desk until i say you can get out. Understand?" I nodded as I'm scared to disobey. Because bitch, who wouldn't. I walk up to her desk, it's full of papers, my gaze softened at the project that is supposed to be finished tomorrow but i found out the project we did before this, was stolen by an anonymous. I look at Ms. Nishiana to see if she's sure, she smiles softly before nods in a serious manner.

I chuckled, i hid under the big desk before i heard a big knock on the door. I narrow my eyes on the floor, who is that? How dare that person can just enter the office like that. She will probably kick their ass. Pfft, prob.

I hear voices talking and Ms Killins voice, i heard two unfamiliar voices, a male's and a female's. Well, i know Ms Killins voice. Her voice is sweet and soft, gosh she's so cute sometimes and probably would be m- wait what?! Uhm, anyways. I'm now listening to their conversation, unaware that a person tried to block my ear from listening using their spell.
