Today, my cousin Alice and my Nana Evelyn are all coming to visit.

Grandpa left Nana soon after Alice was born and Nana took matters into her own hands and blocked out all men from her life to keep her and Auntie safe.

She made sure Auntie would do the same after Uncle died. Alice's only male father figure was My dad and he lives with me and mum so he doesn't see her much and they arent even from his side of the family.

"Hey love, hi Jamie how have you two been?" Nan asked completely disregarding my dad.

"Mum if you are going to be an
b!tch to my husband at least make it a little less obvious." Mum said cruelly.

Mum and Nan always had a tense relationship but not as tense as mum and Aunt they can't stand in the same room without stating a fight.

"Anyway, I'm great Nana, How are you??" I asked trying to diffuse the tension.

"Oh I'm good dear, but a certain young missy is dying to see you!" Nan exclaimed obvious hinting at Alice.

"Where is she??" I asked excitedly.

"She is right here......now where has that rascal got off to?" Nan questioned after realising Alice isn't behind her.

"AMBUSH AR$EH0LE!!!!!" A voice screamed before pinning me down.

"Nice to see you too Alie" I greeted sarcastically.

"71 to me 68 for you" Alice said with a smug look on her face.

Since I am 8 in seven days I thought I was more responsible. But everyone has to have a day off from being the older cousin, right?

I am an only child so I don't understand many people that say that's just what siblings do.

My dad says that when talking about mum and auntie Emma. I pretty sure once Mum threw aunt out of the window!

After 30 minutes, Alie and I went on the swing set in the park and I saw my favourite girl (that I'm not related to)

"Hey Jammy Who's this, your girlfriend?" My friend said proudly

"A better question is who the f*ck do you think you are talking to? You look like a princess just vomited on you." Alice laughed.

"Alie be nice! You too Marls! Marlene this is my younger cousin Alice and Alice this is my friend Marlene." I explained.

"Oh so she is a baby?"Marls asked sarcastically.

"Marlene can't you be nice for 5 minutes? She is only 2 months younger then you!" I Said not looking for a fight.

After a 15 minute long argument Marls and Alie noticed I was upset and apologised.

"Hey I pretty sure Pete is in wanna ding door ditch him with me?" Marls asked.

"Whoever Pete is I'm in!" Alie agreed.

"Sure you know I love a good prank, but we can also play with him later right?" I questioned excitedly.

"Obviously!" Marls and Alie said at the same time.

We ran to Pete's house, knocked than hid behind a bush. His mum shouted at Amelia to open it and she did.

After realising no one's there she shouted "James, Marlene come out I know it was you idiots!"

"Hey Who you calling an idiot b!tch" Alice shouted back.

"LANGUAGE AR$EHOLE!" Amelia countered.

"You are speaking to a seven year old." I said. Amelia shrugged as Pete walked down the stairs.

Without even needing to say anything we all went to the park before being called back by our parents (Nana called Alie).

We all said bye and looked forward to my birthday and Easter.

Alice was nice I personally think she is a bit snappy and should take a chill pill to be honest. Either way I'm not a jugdey person so.. Anyway I don't care what she thinks and am going to enjoy the holiday.
