The three rushed to the gates, The Moon Sisters with The Cold Wolf. Something felt strange to Icy specifically as soon as he ran out the gate, for he felt a sort of warmth for a moment. He kept running with the sisters, as there was pressure from the danger to come later, though something that had the strength to stop such danger had the will to save the kingdom, and his own life, returning what has been lost to him. Through the snowy woods, all there could be seen was white snow covering the ground and trees, while the sun and moon cycled for the days they traveled. They stopped in the middle of snow, as they saw a cave entrance as a place to hide and stay for the night. "I-I'd rather not stay in there to be honest...," Icy said in a fearful tone. "I know you won't feel as comfortable, but we gotta stay here for now, promise it'll be the only time we stay in a dark place like this," Moonfrost said. "Well how are we gonna rest without a way to comfort ourselves!?," asked Icy. Moonfrost took out some logs, while Moonlight started breathing fire, a sign to start a campfire. When the campfire was done, the only thing heard echoing through the cave entrance was the growling stomach of the wolf. He laid his hands in fear, as his hunger slowly consumed him. "...of course we'd need food, do y'all have any?," he asked. Moonlight took out an aluminum foil packet, which seemed to have had some squishy object within it. Moonlight covered her breath over the packet, as her breath was a boiling furnace. "Catch!," Moonlight said as she threw the packet towards Icy. The wolf catched and gently opened the packet, seeing a cut and cooked piece of meat hiding in the bag. His saliva covered his whole tongue, as he opened his maw, pulling out the piece of meat surrounded and cut by his teeth, leaving a bite mark on the snack he was given. With his teeth moving, and jaw chewing, breaking down the snack. The taste he savored delighted him as he swallowed the bitten piece. "Thanks, this is pretty good!," Icy exclaimed. Moonfrost gave Icy the armor and said "You're gonna need this, it will protect you at all costs!" Icy had a confused look as he finished his snack, only to safely and slowly put on the armor. The chest piece fit as the diamond-shaped hole adjusted itself with the crystal, as small metal sleeves appeared with a circular screen showing the symbol of The Cold Wolf, a snowflake. He put on the leggings of the armor, which covered all his waist and upper legs. "This piece may be the most important of all," Moonfrost said. Icy questioned it because what he saw was, as he described "A frame!? With an antenna!? How is that gonna help!?" "Put it over your face, it's something special that you must use wisely," Moonfrost said. Icy shyly put it over his face, only for the frame to become a visor, which covered the whole face of the wolf. The visor was a sort of screen, showing a face of its own, to show the whole emotion and facial expressions of The Cold Wolf. "It may not seem like much, but that's as much as we could make for you," Moonfrost said. Icy nodded and responded with "Thanks I guess..." only for him to turn into his mammal form and curl up, laying his head on his own tail fluff. His eyes closed into his own darkness, only to travel through his mind for a few hours, until one moment, he heard humming, a humming so old, that he had forgotten who it was that hummed the tune he loved. He slowly opened his eyes, only to see Moonlight outside at the entrance, watching the stars hover over the sky as nebulas paint the interstellar darkness. The wolf got up, laying his paws on the ground, slowly walking towards the dragon, asking "H-how do you know that song...?" "This is from a myth...a myth so old, it's been forgotten by time, yet very few still know about it," Moonlight said in a calm and quiet tone. Icy had a question in his head, but he couldn't answer it, nor ask it to the others, as he may feel endangered about it if told. He went back to the spot he slept on, curling up back to sleep, waiting as the moon passed by the stars for the sun to shine back in the snow, to continue his journey.
