Chapter 10 A New Sin

Icy, Ciela and The Moon Sisters traveled through the woods, a strange phenomenon of the trees was their roots being implanted within ice. It was not the only phenomenon within the forest, not even was it by nature. Icy and Ciela held their hands when they went through the forest. Everything seemed normal for a bit until they went deeper into the heart of the frozen nature. A sort of echo was heard within their footsteps. "Something is wrong!" Moonlight said. Everyone looked around, slowly separated from each other without noticing, everyone looked behind themselves, and all of a sudden, nobody was behind them, nobody else was where they were at, but themselves. "Moonfrost!? Moonlight!? Icy!? Dang it, I left him or he left me, what is happening!?," Ciela questioned. Icy was somewhere else within the forest, even Moonlight and Moonfrost. Moonlight slowly got worried, only to spread her wings in an attempt to ascend to the sky, though unfortunately as she rose in the air, she smashed her head into a sort of invisible barrier. "Ow, what was that!?!? This forest can't be...the forest of the Jötunar, a piece of Jötunheim that fell from the realm, possessing this small piece of the world!!" she thought. Moonfrost started freaking out from what occurred. "Dang it, get me back, get me back, get me back, where did they go!?!?," she cried. Icy was lost and confused, growing shy from how alone he was. "Um...hello!? Ciela!? Frost!? ...light!?" He walked around to try and find the others, though no sign of them was found for much time. He heard the reality echo through his ears, as he thought it seemed shattered. He kept pressing his feet onwards to the snow, though he heard a branch snap within a tree, his ears perked up in fear. He then decided to run, only to look in front of him for a few seconds, suddenly turn around to see if anything chased him, only to be stopped by something else. He slipped on something that felt squishy, he heard a pop with his feet covered in some substance, he fell on his back, barely much pain, but enough to keep him still for a few seconds unfortunately. He tried to get up as fast as he could, but something stopped him. He saw the same figure in front of him, a dark figure that seemed to hold a blade, the same figure within his small sudden dream. "Well well, we seem to have our reward," she said. Icy backed up while he was still on his back as soon as he recognized her. "No no no, what the heck do you want!?!?," Icy cried. He was close to bursting into tears, for his fear dominated him. "So shy, so lonely, so passionate, yet to abuse courage, we can use it as a weapon!" Lust said. She started to use magic that was needed to summon another sin. Pain slowly consumed Icy, only for him to scream as loud as he could. Everyone else could hear it, so they ran to the direction of the scream, though as soon as they ran straight towards it, they felt something close towards them. The reality slowly shifted, bending, only for The Moon Sisters and Ciela to suddenly appear in the corners of the forest. Icy was still screaming with the magic still consuming his body. The three ran to him, though Moonlight spread her wings, only to take flight and speed to pounce upon Lust, pinning her into place. Moonfrost and Ciela attempted to get Icy up, though as they grabbed him, they really didn't, the phenomenal nature within the forest was gone, as it was absorbed by the body that came out of Icy, a dark replica. When they realized, Ciela screamed as she dropped the replica. "That's not him!!!" she cried. Moonfrost immediately did the same as Ciela, though the replica seemed to let out a dark groan to slowly wake. They saw Icy in the same place, still in the ground on his back, powerless, more shy, slowly shedding a tear. "I-I don't want to go...please, help me," he said in his softest tone. Ciela and Moonfrost grabbed him immediately, only to move as fast as they could. Lust launched Moonlight off of her by ejecting her feet towards her abdomen. She rolled and immediately ran away from the forest, though there was still much to face. "You're not leaving this forest without me!!" Pride said. He dashed towards Moonfrost and Ciela, though Moonlight saw from above as she was flying above the forest. "Watch out, behind you!!!" she cried. Moonlight dipped down towards them, in an attempt to pounce towards Pride from behind, though he dashed upwards fast enough to avoid her, only to land on her with his elbow striking her back. She was able to resist due to her scales protecting her muscles and bones, she was only pinned for some time within the ground. "I'll have my full power, even when I'm stronger, I'll still get to you!!" Pride thought as he kept chasing Moonfrost and Ciela. He would not stop, even as far as they were, his desperation was limitless. Moonlight attempted to use the power of the moon, only to shine down the light the moon gave towards Pride. He feared it, as the darkside fuels his power. "Damn it, no!!," he cried as he went to find some shade. Moonlight got up, as her scales were broken from Pride's drop. He seemed to have run away to find a dark place, due to the shining of the moon weakening him. Icy was still paralyzed from his strength being taken away. "We have to hide again, we stay here, they could try and find us again!" Ciela said. Everyone kept traveling ahead, though Icy had to be carried on Moonfrost's shoulder, even without strength, the others held onto hope, to reach the temple safely and regain Icy's strength.
