I clung onto Alexandra as Brianne dragged us through shrubs, finally deciding on one and allowing me and my dead sister to stop and take a breather. She bent over, blonde hair messy from running so fast. No one had noticed us, too busy gathering the people from the streets. It was an ugly thing, what they were doing to us. I'm just glad Brianne had picked us up before someone else flund us. Someone that had a bad intention towards us.
A big glow reflected off Briannes bodysuit. She shot back up to stare at her forearm, where there was a blue and white light blinking in her eyes.
" Kunderman?"
Her forearm asked. Perhaps it was some kind of device that spoke to her. She pressed a large button and nodded.
" Reporting, Captain Del Rio."
I lay Alexandra down on the grass, schooching over to Brianne. I saw what she was talking to. A middle-aged man was on a screen in her arm. He scattered through somthing below screen level, causing ruckus.
" Any attack plans that you see so far, Kunderman?"
She gulped, wiping her forehead.
" N-No, Captain Del Rio. I've been trying not to blow my cover, Sir. As soon as news approaches, I promise i will get back to yo-"
"ENOUGH PROMISES, KUNDERMAN!" He cried.
" D-Dad, Theyre secrity codes are almost impossible to break."
" First, I trusted you to crack that code. And you will. Second, What did i tell you about calling me 'dad' on duty?"
She gulped harder and leaned back in the shrub. She glanced at me and Alexandra, then back to her father.
" Yes, Sir."
He chuckled deeply, making her shiver a tad.
" Thats better. Del Rio out."
The screen went blank once more, Causing Brianne to take a deep breath and relax a little.
" Sorry about that." She said. I nodded in understanding.
" Your not on this team, are you?" I pointed to her screen. She sighed, then nodded no.
" I'm a spy. From the UNSC. Thats my dad on there. He sent me to 'Prove my skills'."
She sat cross legged beside me. Her eyes seemed more full of worry then it had been before, due to her father.
" I think i have an idea." She flipped her hair sideways, picking up her gun and looking back at me once more.
" Dont move a muscle. I mean it, William."
She then dissapeared into the battlefield once more, leaving me and Alexandra together. I defied Briannes strict orders, hussleing around to see her once more. I couldnt see much, just a flash of Briannes purple gun. There was a close gunshot noise, casuing me to jump and and leaned against the rock this shrub was pressed against. Footsteps. Running. Oh, God.
I pulled out Alexandras nails scissors from her backpack, aiming it where the noise was coming from. Another thud sent the scissors flying into the direction of the noise, hitting somthing.
" OW!"
Brianne. It was brianne coming towards me. She pushed bacj some leaves and walked in, angry at me.
" What is this?"
She cried, slapping some clothing onto the ground. She took the scissorsand threw them at the rock, making them come back down with a large metal noise.
" Sorry.. Self defense?" i mummered. She rolled her eyes at me, still pretty mad.
" Well, good for you. You didnt only rip my suit, but you drew blood."
She showed me her exposed arm, a huge slit on her shoulder where i must had cut her. A thin line of blood followed that exposing rip.
" Oh god, im so sorry. I didnt know it was you!"
She nodded and kicked me what she had brought back from the battlefield. I picked up the crumpled bodysuit, also showing the black boots and helmet that lay underneath.
" You better be careful next time, Will." She picked at her suit sadly, depressed from the gash.
" Sorry, i thought it was another alien."
"WELL IT WASNT. This is my favorite suit, ya know."
" Thats why your so upset?"
She didnt answer.
" Girls." i mumbled.
" Excuse me?"
" Nothing."
She pushed my body against the rock, Face inches from mine. She was definelty angry now.
" Listen, buddy. I have 3 rules that you MUST go by if you ever want to see the sky again."
i gulped, scared.
" First, You listen to Brianne. That means, if i tell you to do somthing, Do it. And be quick, or ill get mad. You dont ignore me, Decive me, or betray me.Got it?"
I nodded intenselly. She let go of me, but still stood her ground.
" Second, You respect me. That means 100%. No sarcasm, Talking back, fighting, argueing, ANYTHING. Just because im a girl, doesnt mean i wont give you pain."
I nodded again, picking up the suit to examine it. Black with green shoulder pads and some kind of a belt and knee pads. Not that bad.
" Third, You
