"Jeez. Alright!" I quickly let go, it was a wolf. He was cute, but not my type. He had blonde hair and blue eyes and was quite physically fit. As he stared at me, up and down with a smirk playing on his lips, I did the same, minus the smirk.
"Hi." He flirtatiously said. "I'm Jake." He stuck out his hand for me to shake. "Do you have a name or can I call you mine?" Cocky piece of shit. "Well Jake, how many girls did you use that line and fail on before?" Idiots these days.
"Hey. Actually, you were the first, and please you know you want me." He winked. "Yeah, as much I'd want my eyes gouged out with my own nails. Now if you don't mind." I sidestepped him, leaving the jerk there. "Hey, I'll have you know I'm the soon to be Alpha King's gamma." He smirked thinking that would impress me.
A crowd of wolves started listening in, trying not to be obvious. "Oh wow, congratufuckalations," I said in an overly cheery, girly voice and the fakest smile I could muster.
A few wolves chuckled, while others tried to stifle back their laughs. "I would watch it, new girl." Jake stepped closer to me. That did not sit well with me or my wolf, it was like we were being challenged. I was born a beta, that was higher than a gamma, so being challenged by a gamma. It won't end well. "Or what?" I stepped closer to him as the crowded jeered. "Are you going to tell the Alpha on me?" I did a baby voice, mocking him. I turned away from him, leaving him once again.
I ended up being late to homeroom but oh well, I just made my way straight to English with Mr. Pepper. Who the fuck has the last name Pepper?!
I walked into the class five minutes late, to be met with a short, old dude with a really bad wig, probably trying to hide his bald patch, and a chubby stomach. "I presume it's Miss Jennings. Glad you could join us with your presence." Great. Another sarcastic teacher thinking he's funny. You know I've started to become really sick and tired of this school already.
"The pleasures all mine," I said with a fake accent and fake smile, to which I flashed to him for all of two seconds before returning to my neutral facial expression. Be nice. Be calm. Don't get into trouble. My dumb mantra was clearly not working. "Well class as you can see we have a new student. Why don't you introduce yourself?" Pepper said, crossing his arms with a blank expression.
"Fine. My name is Kat." The boys in the class just cheered and wolf-whistled while I rolled my eyes.
"How about you tell us more?" Pepper stated in a "duh" tone. "How about I not?" I said walking to the back of the class taking a seat. "Miss Jennings this school has a strict behavior policy, I expect you to behave in this school." He snapped. He was human, he obviously didn't know he should not wind up a wolf.
"Well, then your expectations are a piece of shit." The class just laughed. What's so funny?
"How dare you?! I will not tolerate this foul language." I bet I can make him swear...
"Do not do it, Kat, you promised your dad no trouble." I rolled my eyes in response to my wolf's comment. What my dad doesn't know won't hurt him.
School just got slightly more entertaining.
"What language? English?" "No, that foul word!" He growled. "What word?" I played dumb. "Shit! You said shit!!" He shouted. "Sir you said a very bad word." He went bright red, his wig flopping about on his head, increasing the roaring laughter of the class.
"Sir, are you trying to play charades?" I asked with a fake cheery tone. He growled again, doing angry hand movements. "Umm... Four words, uh!!!! Angry? Mama? Hungry? bear?" I acted dumb guessing whilst the class was crying with laughter. I can't help being a class clown sometimes. The laughter was encouraging, plus I was enjoying this way too much. So much for just trying to be a wallflower.
