I followed Foxy out of the closet and out of into the hallway. He looks back at me with a neutral gaze and a likewise expression, "Follow me, the meetings about to start."
"Meeting?"
He nods, "Freddy will most likely just tell you a little about ourselves."
I nod slowly, "Okay...."
He smirks slightly, "Its not as boring as you may think."
I laugh softly, "Okay..."
He then looks away and walks down the hall in the direction of the stage. I slowly followed behind him, and he lead me away from my office.
I kept following him as we entered the area with the stage and all the tables. He led me up the side stairs of the stage and back behind the curtains where I could see the rest of the crew. They were sitting in folding chairs, formed in a somewhat semi circle. I look around at them and Foxy ahead of me gestures to a seat with his hooked hand.
I walk slowly towards him and take a seat. He then moves and takes an empty seat beside me.
Bon has his arms crossed and has an annoyed expression on his face but when he sees me looking at him he smirks slightly. I turn away from him and then look at Freddy. He lets out a breath and then he meets my eyes.
Chika was sitting in the chair beside Bon, with her leg crossed over the other. She smiled in my direction as well when my gaze fell upon her.
"Rachel, you're probably wondering how the heck we're wondering around and are human correct?"
"Yes that has been one of the questions on my mind" I nod.
"Well I'm not going to tell you everything because we just met you but I will tell you this...." He seems to stare at me as he says it, "We are the spirits of the animatronics"
"Wha....what does that mean..."
"It's kinda like possession. We are only free to roam at night...." Bon said crossing his legs.
Freddy glared at him.
"Sorry, sorry" Bon said, "Go back to your speech."
Freddy sighs and goes on, "I'm sorry but there is not much else we can tell you without revealing our dark history"
I looked over at Foxy and he was biting his lip, with an angry glint in his amber eyes.
He doesn't want it to be a secret.....
"Well I appreciate you telling me, even if it was only a little bit..." I say.
"Well you have to know something, if you're going to be working night shift here" Foxy says.
I look over at him and he has a sad look in his eyes.
I really hope that they can trust me because maybe I can help them free of the curse Foxy mentioned....
**********
The meeting ended shortly after and I was walking back to my office with Foxy escorting me.
We walked side by side down the hallway, me staring straight ahead.
Foxy did the same and I could feel that the awkward silence was overwhelming.
"So..." I finally managed to speak and I could see Foxy's ears twitch lightly so that I knew he was listening. "Do you think I'll get used to it, you know with you guys being real and all?"
Foxy shrugged softly, "It depends on if your scared of us or not."
We stopped at the doorway to my office and Foxy put his hooked hand against the frame.
I slowly started to walk inside and Foxy then cleared his throat, "Hey look, for whatever reason you came here for I suggest you turn around while you can."
Foxy seemed to be genuinely worried as he was saying this, "This curse that we have is a nasty thing and I don't think you want to be involved if you don't have to."
I smiled softly at him, "We'll see Foxy."
I had made my decision.
I was going to break this curse.
