I was frozen, staring into the eyes of the people before me, all of them staring at me with eyes full of fear.
My heart was beating a million miles per minute and I felt as if I was choking for air.
No, that wasn't a metaphor.
Around my body I could feel them, countless amounts of strings that were cutting into my body. Around my legs, around my arms, around my chest, even around my neck I could feel the tiny lines of strings digging into my skin, making me want to scream in pain. But if I moved I know it could cut me very deeply.
I looked toward Foxy, knowing that he could see them clear as day and that was why he had such a pain stricken face.
"Now Rachel here I have come to found myself liking," The Puppet began, both his arms curling to wrap around my shoulders and I could feel his chest against my back and his breath against my ear, "She was something I couldn't predict coming to the pizzeria and her defiance made everything more interesting."
I could feel his grin without seeing it, I knew that it was stretching across his features.
"What does she have to do for you?" Bon spoke softly with a menacing look in his purple eyes. His hands remained in closed fists at his sides and he looked about ready to punch the Puppets face straight through.
The Puppet chuckled lightly and a shiver ran down my whole body, "Rachel is something of a treasure. I have been watching her for some time and have made the determination that I want her as my wife."
The whole room was silent as shock filled the air.
"In exhange," the Puppet continued, "In told her that I would give all of your lives to her and she'd be able to do with you as she pleases, including setting you free."
My eyes widened as those words left his mouth.
I could set them free.....
Suddenly the offer seemed far more negotiable.
The Puppets fingers trailed against my neck and he tilted my chin up to face him and I saw the wide smile on his face, the sharp shark like teeth showing between his lips, "If she refuses my offer I'm going to continue to keep you as my slaves and you will be mine for all eternity, but because she doesn't belong to me I'll let her leave unharmed." He faced me his grin widening, "It's your choice."
"Leave us Rachel, its not worth it," Foxy immediately began to raise his voice, looking at me in desperation. His eyes were wide and his fox tail swayed from side to side, "Setting us free isn't a fair price to spending all eternity with him."
"Foxy's right Rachel, you can't become his wife for us," Bon supported Foxy and his opinion, looking at me with his most defiant expression, "We got you into this mess, you shouldn't have to face anything like this. Just go."
I then looked down to see him looking at BB with the saddest gaze before looking up at me, "Run Rachel, leave us here with him and flee. You need to save yourself."
My mind was overflowing with emotion.
I felt like I was about to burst into tears.
Here just stood before three guys who had done nothing but cared about me ever since I first met them. They went through hell and back dealing with this curse and two of their closest people died because of this and yet they still want me to flee and leave them in the hands of the guy who started it all.
But you can save them.
Yeah, i can.
Was I stupid for being this brave in the situation I was in right now? Was it bad that I knew exactly what I needed to do, even though I knew that they would never forgive me for it.
"I'll become your wife," I said slowly and quietly, "But only on my terms."
"Rachel no!"
Foxy began to charge forward once more and he was thrown back into the wall behind him by the Puppet who had turned to look down at me with pure pleasure on his face, "Excellent, what are your terms Rachel." His voice curled in glee.
I swallowed nervously as i looked at the ground below me, seeing Fred with outrage on his face as he looked at me with pleading eyes, "Rachel don't do this!"
I ignored him, looking back at the Puppet, "I want all of the animatronics freed from their curse and able to live their human lives again, all of them returned to full health. And I also never want you interact with their lives ever again." I spoke firmly and clearly, making sure he heard every word.
The Puppet continued to grin as he nodded his head in understanding, "Is that all you ask Rachel? "
I slowly nodded my head, very softly so that the strings around me didn't cut me, "Yes that is all."
The Puppet then waved his hands in front of himself, black mist forming from his hands before a dark black ring with a red jewel in its center was revealed. The Puppet grabbed a hold of my hand before sliding the ring onto my finger.
"Rachel!" Both Bon and Foxy yelled at the same time starting to charge towards me and the Puppet.
But as soon as the ring was placed on my finger my whole body lit up in fiery pain. I screamed at the top of my lungs and held my face in both hands as I shut my eyes tight.
The strings felt as if they had melted off along with my face.
My vision was red and I couldn't seem to see anything for awhile other than pain before I was finally able to open my eyes again.
There I found Foxy, Bon and Fred staring at me with terror, their gazes all on mine.
The Puppet began to giggle as he extended his hand towards me, "Welcome to my world Rachel, this is day one of infinity."
