Penny has been living with the Avengers for a week now; ever since The Tony Stark figured out who spiderman was. Aunt May didnt give it a second thought, and let Tony take her neice straight away.

May has been getting even more annoyed at Penny for not being the girl she wanted. May has also threatened her neice multiple times about getting rid of her. Penny didn't want to be separated from her last living relative, but she also thought that it might not be a bad idea. So for the Avengers to take her in, it was a win-win.

Penny's watch vibrated as it was time for her to get up for school.

The watch was a Stark watch specially made for Penny with the same features as a normal smart watch, but also had emergency buttons that went straight through to any Avenger who was available.

Sluggishly, the 14 year old got out of bed and headed to the shower. Penny hated showers as it was a reminder of her feminine body that she hated. She desperately tried not to look down at herself as she didn't want a flood of dysphoria to drown her. Luckily, it wasn't too bad.

5 minutes later, the girl stepped out of the shower. Once dry, she threw on a clean pair of boxers, then struggled to pull on her binder. Penny got dressed into a pair of black leggings, a white science pun t-shirt and a black hoodie with designs on the back.

Even though aunt May isnt there, Penny has dressed 'girly' in front of the Avengers as she is scared about how they might react if she did the opposite.

The girl packed her bag, remembering her packer, a pair of black jeans to change into, and a beenie before brushing her teeth and heading into the kitchen.

"Good morning Mr Stark" "Hey kid" both Penny and Mr Stark greeted each other as the girl entered the room. Penny then grabbed a pop tart before rushing into the elevator.

In an alleyway near the tower, Penny changed into her trousers, positioned her packer and stuffed her hair into a beanie. Peter then met Ned at Delmars to walk to school.

It was the end of the school day and Peter was walking back to the tower. He didn't bother changing back into Penny like he's done every day before. Instead he was going to take a risk and see how it goes.

Peter arrived at the tower and stumbled into the elevator taking him up to the penthouse. Once he got there, the doors opened to reveal all the Avengers sat in the living room, while Bucky and Steve were in the kitchen preparing dinner. Peter's heart pounded in his chest rapidly. What were there going to think of him? How were they going to react?

"Hi Penny!" Everyone recited in unison, once they noticed the girl stood by the door. "Hey guys" Penny responded after a few seconds. Her heart returned to normal, but the 14 year old was still on edge. She was quite shocked that nobody did a double take; 'if they were May, they would've freaked out the second I walked through the door' Penny thought to herself.

Penny joined the group on the sofas, as they all sat in an awkward silence. They were all bored, and since the young girl had only been staying there for a week, nobody had fully settled in yet. "Friday, can you put Toy Story on for us please" Clint asked the AI, "sure Mr Barton." As the film started playing, Penny felt more relaxed as the tension left her body.

As the group got more engaged in the film, Penny could feel someone's eyes on her. Looking away from the TV, the girl saw Nat staring her suspiciously. Penny now felt uncomfortable again. Her thoughts raced as worry bubbled up inside her. 'What is Nat thinking?' 'What if she doesn't like me anymore'
