"I can't believe you did that!" Jimin was having a hearty laugh at your expense.

"I didn't know who else to call at that time. Anyway, Kookie is better, that's all that matters." You said with a sigh. Jimin had called you early in the morning to let you know of the recent gossip but instead had you spilling the beans about last night's events.

"You could have called me."

"And?"

"And I would have said no. But that's not the point. You called him of all people. He clearly has feelings for you. I bet you my beautiful ass that he was the one who asked your mom to set you up. That man is whipped for you."

"Shut up Jimin. You haven't even met him. And I will tell you again as I told you all the other 50 times. His mother happened to be my mother's church buddy and that's how the date came to be."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night. Anyway, let me tell you why I called before I forget."  Jimin said seemingly excited at the news he was about to spill.

"What is it? Are we all getting fired?" You asked worriedly. After receiving the notice about the suspension of classes until things get better, it has been radio silence for about a week now.

"No, quite the opposite actually. The school is thinking about making the classes online. We can sit at home, login in, and then take classes for like an hour or two, and then voila, the day's pay is sent to our account. Isn't it amazing?"

"How is that amazing, Jimin? More technology to deal with and I don't think these young kids would even bother to still and listen to a voice from the computer."

"Ah, it's going to be easy-peasy, girl. You know how to handle WhatsApp video calls right? It's going to be the same. Nothing to worry about. And the best part, I don't have to wear pants anymore. For all, I care I can go commando and work."

"Don't traumatize the kids Jimin. Nothing has been confirmed anyway. I saw on the news that some schools in South Africa were going to opt for like an alternate-day school kind of thing. Maybe we will be doing something like that too." You said wanting to sound hopeful. You didn't need more technology to take over your life. It was hard as it was.

"You know my sources are never wrong. I have to get a new laptop. So imma off online shopping now. Bye~~" Jimin sang out.

"Don't you have one already?"

"Sweetheart, that's for my games, I ain't getting work shit on it."

"Just say you want a new laptop you rich brat." You chided the manchild.

"Ah, you know me so well. Aren't you getting one? The old thing that you have isn't gonna be enough."

"That's tomorrow's me's problem. Today I'm not gonna be bothered with any of that. And that laptop cost a fortune when I bought it."

"Yeah, in 2012. We are living in 2020 milady."

"Bye~~" You hung up to take a look at your laptop which was on your desk. You never really did much on it sparing all the googling and typing. And it worked pretty fine.

"I ain't gonna let you go lappy. Don't listen to Jimin. He's a spoilt brat. You are not old, you are the best."

"Gomo, how did Gomobu propose to you?" Jungkook asked making you choke on water.

"What?!"

"Oh, you heard me fine. Tell me Gomo. I need ideas."

"Ideas for what boy?"

"For my future proposal." You chuckled at the boy's response but you soon stopped when you saw the boy was as serious as a heart attack.

"Well, my dear Kookie, I hate to break it to you but I was the one who did all the proposing and not your Gomobu." You said with a smile.

"Can girls propose?"

"Why not?"

"How did you do it? Tell me." The boy looked like an excited puppy melting your heart.

"Well, I made him a comic book with all these little incidents in our life and then placed a ring on the last page." Tears pricked your eyes as you thought about how you proposed to your love and how the both of you ended up sobbing professing your love to each other.

"Whoa! That's so cool. I wanna do something cool like that too."

"Yeah, well let's get a little older before all that. Now you are my baby. Too young to think about any of this." You cooed at the boy and ruffled his hair making him frown at you. You were facing him when you saw him visibly stiffen. You turned around to see that Taehyung had entered the room. The two of them hadn't been in the same room after the incident yesterday let alone speak to each other.

"Oh, Good morning Tae. Did you sleep alright?" You asked even though his wary state told you that he might have stayed up all night thinking about all things that had gone down.

"Actually no. I-I wanted to say something." Taehyung said his eyes wandering all over the place. Jungkook stood to leave the room sensing the tension in the air.

"Wait, Jungkook." Taehyung spoke and the boy froze in his steps.

"I-I am sorry. I am a terrible father. I just- I-I, I'm gonna change. I-I promise. Please forgive m-me." Taehyung stuttered leaving the boy shocked. Taehyung was on the verge of tears and you could see how Jungkook was getting teary-eyed. Deciding that they needed a mediator for now, you approached the young boy.

"Kook, will you give a second chance to your Appa?" You asked softly.

Jungkook looked at you stunned before turning to look at Taehyung. "Y-yes Appa." Relief spread across Taehyung's face and now he was crying. "Thank you, thank you Jungkook. I will make it up to you. I will do everything to change. I promise." He let out between sobs. Soon Jungkook was sobbing and you had two crying boys to handle. You brought together the two of them and hugged them while they sobbed on your shoulders. You smiled at the scene that had unfolded. This was great progress. Things are going to be better.
