A Long Trip

After a bit, longer driving Doc's house could be seen in the distance. The sun was starting to set and the crimson sky became the familiar black. The stars and moon were becoming visible as well.

As you finally reached the house you let out a sigh. You finally made it to the location intact. Running into Bandits, the Clown, and the A.A.H.W. what an unlucky set of events.

You then heard a loud thud! Looking you saw Doc's car crash onto the wall around the house. "What the! Doc just crashed!" you yelled. "He always parks like that." Sanford said.

"That ain't parking. That's for sure." Deimos said. Deimos parked the truck and Hank parked his car. Opening the door you stepped out onto the desert ground.

"Home sweet home." Doc said. "I used to live here." Hank said. "Well not anymore." Doc said. "I still own the land. You're just a tenant."

Doc was about to respond but just shook his head slightly. "Fair enough. At least I don't have to pay." Doc added. He then popped open the trunk and grabbed a box out of it.

"What's in the box?" you asked. "It's pieces for the machine I need to build. The pieces I originally had got destroyed in the explosion with Hank's car. However, Status Quo has connectivity." Doc said. "What's the machine you're building? You keep bringing it from time to time." you said.

"The machine I am building will allow us access to The Nowhere. Hell even allow us to pass through it." Doc said. You gave a hopeful look to Doc. "Granted I need a few more parts to it so." Doc added.

Your brain shut off hearing that giving a "oh crap" look. "Sorry to get your hopes up (Y/N). But I will start building it tonight." Doc said. This made you feel a little bit better. "What parts ya need? Screws? Bolts?" Deimos asked.

"I already have those." Doc said furrowing his brow. He then handed the box to Sanford and a second box to Deimos. "Go put the boxes inside please." Doc said. Sanford gave a "Yes sir" while Deimos gave a "Rodger".

While they started to walk to the basement door Doc felt his head. "Hey (Y/N)." Doc said. "Yeah Doc?"

"I think I might grow back my Mohawk. What do you think?" Doc asked. "You used to have a Mohawk?" you said. Doc just gave a nod in response.

"Hmmm well. Sure why not? I mean it's your hair. It would also be interesting to see you with one." you responded. "I think you'd look awful. Haven't seen you have one in years." Hank said.

"At least I can grow hair, Hank. I'm not 100% bald like you." Doc said. You let out a little snicker at what Doc said. Hank didn't say anything in response. After a little bit of weird silence, cold wind blew. You shivered a little bit. "Alright let's get inside. It is going to start getting cold." Doc said.

Doc gestured to follow him up the ramp. Following him up Doc pressed the button to open the door. Upon entering the house there was still machinery laying around. Wires lined the floor and the machines hummed. With the addition of a few couches and an RPG in the corner near the basement stairs.

Wait. AN RPG!

You were about to say something but Sanford and Deimos walked up the stairs. "Doc, you need to get an elevator or escalator. Something along those lines." Deimos said out of breath. "This guy struggled to carry a 25-pound box up a flight of stairs." Sanford said.

"We're not all built like you." Deimos said. Deimos then set the box on to the floor and lay down. "I need to take a breather." Deimos said. "I keep telling you not to smoke. It's destroying your lungs."

Sanford looked over the RPG and raised a brow. "Why do you just have an RPG laying around?" Sanford asked. "I stole it off a dead ATP Soldat." Doc said.

"I'm going to need that Rocket Launcher right now. I need it." Hank said. "Yeah sure. Go nuts." Doc said. Hank grabbed it and walked out of the door. "Why did you say yes?!" you said.

"Why not. I don't need it." Doc said. You just had a flabbergasted look. Not even knowing how to respond to what he said. "He'll be fine. He's a big boy." Doc said.

"This is going to be interesting to watch," Deimos said. He then finally stood up. "who wants to watch Hank with me?"

"Why not." Doc said. Deimos and Doc went outside to watch Hank be destructive. "You're not going?" you asked Sanford. "I'd rather not go deaf." Sanford said.

"Plus I need to get stuff out of the basement." Sanford said. "Need help?"

"No, I'll be fine." Sanford said. Sanford went down the stairs. "C'MON BLOW UP THE HILL."

You peeked out the window to see Doc and Deimos. Both stood behind Hank as Hank himself aimed at the nearest hill. Hank then fired at the hill. Upon firing it made a "WHOOSH".

You watched the rocket barrel towards the hill. BANG!

The house shook a little and the hill was obliterated. "YES. THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT." Deimos yelled. Doc just clapped at what happened. "Got more ammo?" Hank asked.

"No. Don't have any more rockets." Doc said. "I'm going inside." Deimos said. "Same here. Hank, you coming?" Doc asked.

"No, I'm going to stay out here. Need to do something." Hank said. "Alright then. Have fun." Doc said. Both Doc and Deimos walked inside, while Hank stood outside. "That was good." Deimos said.

Sanford walked up the stairs with a table and a few chairs. "I'd say it's time to hit the hay." Deimos said. Sanford put down the table and the chairs down. "I agree. Today was a long day." Sanford said.

You gave a nod and rubbed your temples. "(Y/N) you can have the couch. Deimos and Sanford you both can have the recliners in the basement. I'll take the floor." Doc said.

"You sure?" you asked. "Yup. Use to sleeping on the floor." Doc said. "Well good night. I'm going to bed." Sanford said. "Same here." Deimos chimed in. Both descended the stairs and shut the basement light off.

Doc threw you a pillow and blanket. "I'm turning off the lights." Doc said. You gave a nod and Doc turned them off. Doc than laid gave you a "Night".

"Night Doc." you said. You closed your eyes and started to drift off.
