I screamed into my pillow. All my emotions spilled out while I lay on my bed. Crying. Of course, after a few minutes there was a knock on the door. My sister, Hailey, opened the door.

"R-robby?" She whispered, "Are you okay?"

I shook my head on the pillow. I heard her light foot steps make their way towards my bed.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked.

I shook my head again. Her footsteps shuffled again and I heard the door close. I looked up from my pillow, sat up in bed and wiped my tears off aggressively. I was not going to cry, not for something so stupid anyways.

I got out of bed and made my way to the window, pushing back the curtain; I peered out. My apartment complex was quite simple, there was however, a window in front of my room that happens to spark my curiosity often. Today, the light was on and I saw a figure move across.

I jumped back in surprise; although I knew there was probably someone living in that room, I had never before seen anyone actually there.

"Robby? Do you want me to bring dinner?" Hailey's voice asked from behind my door.

"Um..no, it's okay, I want to eat with you," I replied. I went to the dining room where she was making the table.

As I sat down at the table, she asked, "So, how was school?"

Although I knew she meant well, I couldn't help but feel annoyed, she knew the answer to that question; horrible, as usual.

"Well I definitely failed that physics test today."

"Oh dear, still no progress? Or is it that Tyler guy that's botheri-"

"I don't want to talk about it." I snapped. She went silent and started picking at her mac n'cheese. I immediately felt guilty, but I didn't say much more.

The rest of the dinner was silent. Once I had finished, I helped Hailey clear the table, she didn't say much but later gave me a small bar of chocolate with a smile.

"I'm sure that things will get better, give it some time."
