"-No, how can that be the answer? Are you dumb?" Tyler said exasperated for what seemed like the millionth time.

"I don't know the answer!" I said.

He sighed, then took a deep breath, "Alright, read the question again, take your time and try again."

After a while, I answered, "Kinetic energy?"

"Finally! Yes, that's the answer. Now read the next question."

Hailey walked in with a bowl of freshly baked cookies. She smiled at Tyler.

"I really hope she finally passes the next physics test, thank you so much for helping out Tyler."

Tyler gave a smile, "You're welcome."

Once Hailey was out of the room, I groaned, holding my head again in my hands.

"C'mon, you finish this question and I'll give you a cookie."

"Excuse me? I'll take one whenever I want." I snapped. He grabbed the cookie bowl before I could.

"Ah, ah. If you want a cookie you have to answer that question."

I shoved him. But I got a cookie.

Later that evening, Carol and I were walking in the park together.

"So...Tyler?" She asked. I frowned at her.

"What?"

"You know...You and Tyler. You guys seem to be getting close."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm saying that you guys seem like a 'thing'." She said giggling. My whole face felt like it was on fire.

"We are not like that." I snapped.

She laughed, "You guys are definitely like that."

I shoved her. She yelled out and then I started running away from me, I chased her around the park and we laughed on the ground together.

We went to a cafe together afterwards. She played, obviously. It started to I rain halfway through and Carol cured.

"Damn this weather."

"I like rainy days." I said.

She rolled her eyes, "Yah well, that's you."

I sipped my coffee. My mind wondered off and I found myself thinking about Tyler.

"Robs? Did you like zone out or something?" She asked, all of a sudden, I shook myself out of the thoughts and looked at her.

"What?"

She sighed, then a sly smile crossed her face, "Oooo, are you daydreaming about a certain someone?"

My face turned as red as my jersey.
