I skipped school. I just didn't want to go through that Hell-hole again. I went to the park instead, sitting down on one of the benches, I watched the kids running around.
I wished I could be that small again. When life wasn't so big. When every mystery seemed solvable.
I was never the brightest kid. Up to this day I still haven't achieved anything to brag about. Recently my parents moved to another state for their job, leaving me with Hailey.
It sucked. I didn't really have any friends, just people that I talked to once or twice in class. Those aren't friends, just people.
I suppose Caroline is a friend. She texted me several times to ask where I was. I didn't answer her calls or her messages. I really didn't want to go back. Not when Tyler was still there.
Why do I hate him? Everyone thinks he's a nice guy. And he was, until...I'm not sure, but something changed, and he turned into this horrible person. It almost seemed like I was the only person he was horrid too though, because everyone else just loved him.
"Robin?"
I jumped, looking at my side, there he was; Tyler. I groaned internally, why was he there everywhere I went?
"You seriously skipped school?" He asked. I looked away.
"Dumbass." He said. I got up.
A slight pour of rain started. I looked at Tyler, he had an umbrella.
"I hate you." I whispered. He rolled his eyes.
"Dont worry, the feeling's mutual."
The rain started to pour harder. I was slowly getting drenched, unfortunately, Tyler stood over me with his stupid umbrella. Why couldn't he just leave me alone? For once.
"Listen if you don't come back I'm pretty sure Caroline will skin you and me both."
"Whats her problem?" I muttered.
"How would I know? She ain't my friend." He said. We started walking back.
"Yah well she's not mine either." I snapped.
He gave an exasperated sigh, "Obviously. You don't have friends, remember?"
I gave him a small shove. He gave me a small side grin. I rolled my eyes.
When we finally got back to the school, Caroline flung herself at me.
"Gosh- I was only gone for an hour." I said, prying her hands away from me.
"I was gonna call your sister, I got scared." She said. My blood ran cold.
"Dont you ever do that." I growled.
"Chill Anderson, she could've done worse." Tyler snapped.
"Shut up, I don't want to talk with you."
"Pff- I don't want to talk with you either. Loser."
I made a rude hand gesture.
