Chapter two

Qui-Gon looked around the room, taking in the various representatives from different planets and civilizations. He could sense the tension in the air, as the stakes of this negotiation were high. The Galactic Republic was seeking to establish diplomatic relations with Earth, but there were many on both sides who were wary of this new development.

Qui-Gon took a deep breath and began to speak. "Greetings, representatives of Earth and the Galactic Republic. I am Qui-Gon Jinn, Jedi Knight and representative of the Republic. We come to you today seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict between our two civilizations."

The representatives of Earth looked at each other skeptically, unsure of what to make of this strange alien creature sitting before them. Qui-Gon could sense their hesitation, but he remained calm and focused.

"I understand that there are many on both sides who are wary of this negotiation. But I assure you, we come in peace and seek only to establish diplomatic relations between our two civilizations. The representatives of Earth seemed to consider Qui-Gon's words, and after a moment, the representative from the United States spoke up. "We are willing to hear your proposal, Jedi Jinn. Please, tell us more about what the Galactic Republic has to offer."

Qui-Gon nodded, grateful for the opportunity to continue the negotiation.
