After the pain of leaving my Florida friends, I decided to ring Jane and speak to her. A random lady with a high pitch voice saying
"Hello Who am I speaking to."
"Hello... M m my names Andrew can I speak to Jane please?" I said stuttering almost every word, scared that she gave me the wrong number.
"Hold on a second" Jane!!! She said off the phone "your friend.... What's your name again?"
"Andrew" I said quickly
"Andrew's on the phone come down stairs and pick up your phone." I heard foot steps racing down some stairs. "Hello" she said sounding as if she just ran a mile.
"Hey Jane, I'm back in England now I just wanted to check to make sure I had the right number for you"
"Hey isn't this an overseas call how much are you paying?, and i'll never give you a wrong number."
"I know, I know just had to make sure, and brought a phone card so this call is free for me and you to talk, until the time on the phone card runs out, and i might just randomly cut out, but that ain't gonna be for a long long time so what did you do today? And how was it"
We talked for around 4 to 5 hours about random things until the phone card ran out, when it cut off I texted her on Facebook and asked her if she had a Skype. She replied and told me it, we added each other and was talking for another couple hours till it got late. When it got to 11'o clock she had to go so we said are long goodbye's and hung up.
The next morning I woke up to find out that were moving country again. I didn't even get time to see my friends in England yet was my argument. But no matter what I said we were leaving that night.
Later in the night I packed my bags and waited for my parents to get home so we could leave to go to the airport. Though out all of this I still didn't know where were going to until I saw the tickets which read.
China In bold letters. I jumped up in excitement and ran around the house like a chicken with no head packing extra fast. When my parents came home they were surprised to see that I didn't only pack my bags but I packed there's too.
This was the gonna be the best trip ever I kept telling myself in my head. When we got to the airport I went to get food and sat down beside my mother, sister, and father. Waiting patiently for them to call my gate. After waiting half an hour I heard a faint person on the intercom saying
"All people going China please board though gate D5!"
My parents didn't hear it so I told them we just about made it to the gate before it closed.
When we landed I all I saw was Chinese I couldn't understand a word anybody was saying, and I couldn't read anything on the boards. You would think watching those Chinese movie with subtiltles would have paid off. Nope.
When we got to the hotel we were staying in, for the first time since we got her I saw some engliash written on a board saying
This way to the rooms
Me and my sister had our own room while my mother and father shared a room. I fell asleep in my bed as soon I finish washing up. When I woke up in the morning after a long sleep my mother was in my room talking to my sister.
"Get up sleepy head" she said in a soft calm voice.
"Why" I groaned "because you have school she replied quickly.
When I got to the new school all I could think about was how I am going to understand the teacher if she/he speaks Chinese. I got in to my first class after a long time trying to find the number 101 written on the door. When I got in to the class I found a translator waiting for me. After my classes were done I went to the hotel and waited for my mother to come back from work. My mother works as a lawyer and my father is a foreign diplomat. Hense the reason we traveled to so many different country's.
When my parents got home I showed them how much work I had to do in one day and how long school was. After hearing that they took me out of school a desided that China wasn't the best place to raise a child. Plus my mother had to go to Egypt to do a court case.
Leaving China wan't really sad because I didn't make that many friends. Before I left I desided that I am going to make my time here a fun time. So the next day I took a tour around some parts of China taking around 8 hours of my day this day was one of my funist days of my life. I saw all diffident types of places I even went to the tech part and made my own game on the really fast computers.
When I got home I packed my bags and was ready to go. To realize that my mother said where leaving next Wednesday not this week Wednesday. My sister came into the room.
"Where are you going?"
"Where leaving today aren't we"
"No its next week Wednesday"
"Oh" I said feeling really stupid.
When I finish unpacking the bags I played on the new game that I made in the hotel, because the place I went when your finish making your game you can keep the computer you made it on and the game you made. The reason why is because the laptop was included in the cost of the tour. The rest of the week I was there I went site seeing and Food tasting. I tasted all different types of food even food I have never heard of before.
When the last day came I looked at the ticket that read
One adult to Egypt
I said "here we go again" quitly in my head.
