(Basil's POV)
It looked like sunny was about to say something when in a matter of seconds i was being dragged out of the room by Mari for something I'd also like not to talk about but if Mari wants me to i guess i can. Immediately i found we were outside in the backyard after zoning out for what, 3 seconds? Did Mari jump out the window or something?
I see Mari overly excited and the second after that she asks "Alright Basil, i can't wait any longer tell me who it is!" Mari said practically jumping up and down a little. Jeez, nosy much.
"Well- Uh, i really don't know how to say this but i guess I'll just say the simple answer. Your brother"
Mari inaudibly loudly gasped and started clapping quietly. Aren't Gasps meant to be quiet and clapping is supposed to be loud- i don't know actually.
"So do you want to date him?" Mari questioned
"Duh isn't that like, what a crush is?" Basil said slightly embarrassed at the situation he was found in.
"Alright then I'll arrange that accordingly" Mari said
"What do you mean- " I tried to ask before i was cut off by the sound of the back door shutting... shit

(Sunny's POV)
I was sitting in my room wondering what happened when Mari suddenly barged in.
"Sunny, Sunny, Sunny!"
"Yea?" I replied
"I found out who Basil's crush was and i want to tell you!"
Basil's crush, huh? Wait this means that possibly I'll find out whether or not all my effort has been wasted... actually nevermind i just remembered how perfect basil is and that he would never like me, i think I'm pretty annoying most of the time to him.
"O-Oh alright tell me" i said kind of nervous to find out. Shoot i did not mean to stutter-
"It's you!" Mari said excitedly
"W-What?" I said in disbelief. No way he likes me that's like impossible, WHY HAS SO MUCH HAPPENED IN THE COURSE OF ONE DAY?!?!
"I- can I have some alone time for a moment" i say Mari looks upset and slowly leaves the room, i decides to go over and lock the door. I slide down on the door thinking. 'Could he really like me?' This isn't that negative of thinking but more of disbelief, nobody could ever like me like that... Right?
