Visenya and Aemond had stayed up hours after the sun set, eagerly waiting until everyone had gone to bed. Aegon had gotten a little carried away with the wine and fallen asleep before even the youngest children had gone to bed, and Helaena wasn't mischievous or brave enough to accompany her siblings on their mission. So, as quietly as possible, the two Targaryens snuck out of the castle.

As they ventured across the beach, it wasn't long before they could see the massive outline of the dragon. Laying down, one could mistake Vhagar for a mountain. A deadly, fire breathing, mountain. The oldest and largest dragon alive had been the Queen Visenya's old mount before her death, but now, she would belong to Prince Aemond Targaryen. The four Targaryen siblings would all have a dragon, and Aemond and Visenya would have the largest and most feared dragons alive.

Aegarax lay not too far from Vhagar, he had become less hostile to other dragons thanks to living in the Dragon Pit, but still kept his distance. Once Aemond claimed Vhagar, Visenya planned to fly with them over Dirftmark. A successful flight would secure Aemond's claim and control over the dragon, and Visenya wanted to be there to witness her brother's triumph.

"Are you ready?" Visenya asked as they approached Vhagar.

Aemond nodded once, taking a deep breath and stepped forward. As he grabbed the rope ladders to the saddle, Vhagar awoke, turning to look directly at Aemond, teeth bared and nostrils flaring. If Visenya wasn't so confident, she would be terrified. He stopped, taking his hand back. Vhagar lay down once again. Visenya nodded in encouragement as Aemond looked at her apprehensively. He reached for the rope once more, waking Vhagar as he did. The old dragon turned to Aemond again, this time opening her mouth, dragon fire burning bright at the back of her mouth. Before the princess could say anything, Aemond took control.

"Dohaeras," he commanded, "dohaeras, Vhagar, lykiri, lykiri."

The old dragon stopped for a second, then settled, allowing Aemond to grab the rope ladder and climb upon to the saddle.

As he grabbed the reins, Aemond commanded again, "soves! Dohaeras, Vhagar, soves!"
Vhagar obeyed, allowing the young prince to claim her. She rose from her position, shaking off the sand before taking off to the skies above Driftmark.

Visenya rushed over to Aegarax, ecstatic that Vhagar had accepted her brother as her new rider. Her dragon stirred as she approached, rushing onto the saddle and commanding him to fly, "soves, Aegarax!"

There was no greater feeling than soaring through the skies, it felt like home with the wind whipping through her hair, cooling her skin as she looked down on the buildings and people that looked tiny from her view in the clouds. Visenya was a dragon, it was in her blood to want to spend as much time in the skies as possible. By the time she joined Aemond and Vhagar in the skies, he looked at home on the saddle. Vhagar was now under his complete control.

They flew over the sea, Vhagar's wings brushing the waves, as if she were showing off to her new rider. They flew over the keep, no doubt waking the sleeping lords and ladies. The two dragons flew in sync weaving in and out of the mountains before back to the beach where they first began.

As she dismounted Aegarax, Visenya could see her brother beaming with pride. She ran across the sand, buzzing with joy, and as soon as she reached her brother, she threw her arms around him to pull him into a tight hug.

"How was that?" She asked, she was so proud of Aemond, he claimed and rode the largest dragon in the world.

"That was- I- Surreal!" Aemond stuttered, his hands shaking and trying to catch his breath, "I can't believe I done it!"

"I knew you could, now we can fly back home together." Visenya cupped her younger brothers face, kissing his forehead.

The two beamed at each other, the adrenaline flooding through their veins as they made their way back to the castle.

Their excitement was soon diminished as they walked through the tunnel that lead into the keep. Jace, Luke, Rhaena and Baela were walking towards them, each one of their faces dropped as they saw the prince and princess walking through the tunnel.

"It's them!" Rhaena announced.

"It's us," Visenya deadpanned.

"Vhagar was my mothers dragon," she stated.

"Your mother's dead," Aemond retorted.

"She was mine to claim!" Rhaena exclaimed.

"Then you should have claimed her," Aemond shrugged.

"Maybe your cousins could find you a pig to ride," Visenya spat, "it would suit you."

Rhaena rushed at Aemond, the prince simply pushed her aside into the wall. Baela aimed her attack at Visenya, landing a punch to her face, the coppery taste of blood flooding her mouth. Visenya, in return, kicked the younger girl twice as hard in the stomach, sending her flying to the ground.

"Come at us again and I'll feed you to my dragon," Aemond threatened.

The four younger children rushed at Visenya and Aemond screaming as if they were going into battle. The two girls came at Visenya, they may be angry now and think that they could overpower the princess, but they had never had the proper training that the Targaryens had. Visenya was vicious when she had to.

Baela grabbed the side of Visenya's silver blonde hair, pulling hard as Rhaena punched the exact same spot as her sister had previously. Visenya kicked out at Rhaena, the younger girl doubling over with the force of the Targaryen's boot, falling to the floor with a huff. She then turned her assault to Baela, and with a sharp elbow to her throat, she let go of Visenya's hair gasping for air, Visenya pushed her to the ground along side her sister.

With her two assailants on the ground, Visenya turned to Jace and Luke who had managed to push her brother to the ground, landing punch after punch to his face and body. She grabbed Jace by the back of the collar, yanking him back to push him roughly against the wall, the younger boy's head smacking off the wall and he crumpled to the ground.

That gave Aemond the opportunity to grab Luke by the throat. He stood with his nephew, grabbing a rock off the floor and raising it above his head. "You will die screaming in flames, just as your father did, bastards," Aemond threatened.

"My father's still alive," Luke cried, as oblivious as his grandfather, blood pouring down his face.

"He doesn't know, does he? Lord Stong." Visenya smirked at Jace.

Jace looked furious as he drew a small dagger from his cloak, edging closer to the Targaryens. Aemond kicked Lucerys to the ground, Jace swung the blade wildly. His lack of focus allowed Aemond to knock him to the floor, a sickening thud echoed through the tunnel as his fist connected with his face. Aemond lifted the rock again, this time aiming for Jace.

It seemed as if Rhaena had a similar idea, she grabbed a rock from the floor and launched it at Visenya's face at the same time Jace blinded Aemond with sand.

Visenya fell to the ground, a blinding pain flooding her head, vision going black for a split second. She could hear her brother screaming in pain beside her. She sat up, pushing the pain aside, and when the blurriness from her vision faded away she was filled with a burning rage that she could only compare to a dragon fire building inside her. Aemond lay writhing in pain on the ground, hands clutched to his face as blood poured from the wound.

That little bastard had cut his fucking eye out!

"I am going to kill every single one of you!" Visenya seethed, bundling up her cloak to press to Aemond's wound as he writhed in agony on the dusty floor, she could hear the footsteps and shouting of the kingsguard approaching, "I will cut the flesh from your bones and only when you beg for death will I allow Aegarax to eat you!"
