Dream me a Dream

Dream me a dream,

That will fight the fear.

Dream me a dream,

That will banish the nightmare.

Dream me a dream,

That will make me forget.

Dream me a dream,

That I won't regret.

Too deep eyes,

Hold so many lies.

Too dark eyes,

Watch the demons rise.

A mirrors broken glass,

Will show its cracks.

A broken heart,

Will show its scars.

Dream me a dream,

That I won't fear.

Dream me a dream,

Without the nightmare.

Dream me a dream,

That I won't forget.

Dream me a dream,

Without regret.

The shadows seem intertwined,

Destroying the meaning of mine.

Colors lost in the day,

Blurring into shades of gray.

The complicated mind,

I'm forced to claim as mine.

Feelings gone away,

Lost in fields of gray.

Dream me a dream,

That fights the fear.

Dream me a dream,

That destroys the nightmare.

Dream me a dream,

I don't want to forget.

Dream me a dream,

That will undo regret,

Dream me a dream,

That will never end.
