The wind blows,
Comforting me,
Being velvet on my skin.
The moon smiles,
Glowing a peaceful blue.
The trees whisper to me,
Bowing their heads so I can hear them.
The stars wink at me,
Letting me know I'm in on the secret.
But the shadows frighten me.
They wake me up at night,
Taunt me,
Laugh at me,
Envelope me in fear.
Yet still I must face,
I fight them,
I walk through them.
To the wind,
To the moon,
To the trees
And to the stars.
I will always stand back up.
