Night

Clouds are running,

Across a blazing sky,

Unveiling stars,

And the moon dancing up high.

Some think shadows are frightening,

Malicious, and cruel,

to me those people,

play the fool.

The shadows are playful,

playing with the wind and me,

If only you weren't so frightened,

then you'd really see!

The whispers you're hearing,

The ones that are so scary,

They're whispering to you,

Come and play with me.

Can't you see the trees dancing,

hear the wolves singing?

Can't you hear the streams giggling,

See all the fun we're having?

I'm sorry for those people,

still hiding in the light,

This darkness is so fun,

Even if it is your fright.
