Peter's POV:
"This Spiderman is getting quite popular," Aunt May said.
"Really?" I responded.
"Yeah. Apparently this James Jamerson guy is willing to pay whoever gets a picture of him," she explained.
I raised my eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yeah."
I thought about it.
It could get me some more money to save up for future top surgery.
But how could I take a picture of me and stop crime at the same time.
"Oh dear," Aunt said, looking at the corner of the room. "These Spider webs are getting out of hand."
Webs?
WEBS!
Of course!
It was almost midnight. I had the cameras set up tied up with my webs.
My spider sense, something I decided to call it, then acted up.
I activated the cameras to go when I was in battle.
The criminals drove up, and I landed on their car.
They tried maneuvering me off. I just opened their car door and dragged them out.
I did my stuff while the cameras did theirs.
After I finished, I checked the photos I took.
They looked amazing.
"These are terrible." James said.
What?
"I'm sorry?" I said.
"You heard me. Terrible."
I was shocked. I can't believe this.
"Well has someone taken some better ones?" I asked.
James sighed. "No. In fact you're the only one who had actually turned up with pictures of this Spiderman."
I thought so.
"Tell you what. If no-one comes up with Spiderman pictures in a week, I may consider giving you a job."
Seriously?
"Really?" I asked.
"Maybe. But here's what I promised in the paper."
He handed me some cash.
"Thank you J. J," I said.
"Call me that again and the deal's off."
"Sorry."
I began walking out.
"By the way," J. J said.
I turned to him.
"What's your name kid? I'll need it for publishing."
Luckily I legally changed it before submitting the photos.
"Peter Parker," I answered.
He raised his eyebrow. "Kind of a boyish name for someone like you."
Oh right. I'm still in a girl's body.
"Well it's my name whether you like it or not."
"Alright."
I arrived home.
"How did it go?" Aunt May asked.
"Apparently I was the only one who managed to get photos of the spiderman," I answered.
"Well that's great," she said. "But please be careful while taking the photos. I don't want you to get hurt."
"I won't get hurt, Aunt May," I said while hugging her.
Eddie's POV:
I walked across the street. I saw Maria sitting.
"Hey Maria," I greeted.
"Hey Eddie," She greeted back.
I checked the newspaper box. There was nothing in it.
"Oh dear, it looks like we're empty today," I said aloud.
Maria lifted one of her blankets revealing the newspaper I was looking for. "Five dollars."
"Five dollars?" I said. "For paper that's free?"
"Yep," she responded. "Or three and a song."
"How about twenty dollars for no song ever?" I asked.
"Okay," she said and handed me a newspaper.
"Take care."
I began reading the newspaper.
There was a picture of the 'Spiderman' that Jamerson was talking about.
I looked at the photographer's name.
Peter Parker.
Imagine if that said Eddie Brock.
But you can only dream.
Unless.
Peter's POV:
I swung around the city.
"WHOO HOO!"
I was having the time of my life.
I landed on a building and pulled out my phone.
I opened messages and started texting MJ.
Peter:
How's Washington?
I waited for her to respond.
MJ:
It's okay. I still miss you guys tho :(
Peter:
Have you at least tried to make any friends?
MJ:
Well I did meet a girl. Her name is Gwen.
Awe. She made a friend.
Peter:
That's great to hear
MJ:
Yeah
You should meet her
She's amazing!
Peter:
I will one day
MJ:
Oof
Mum needs me
Peter:
Oof
MJ:
Bye bye
Peter:
Bye!
I put my phone back in my pocket.
It's nice to know MJ has made a friend.
I then swung home before anyone could catch a photo of me.
