Chapter 8

Peter's POV:

It was just a normal day today. Went to school, beat up some criminals, said hello to children who aspired to be me. Everything was normal. But I did get a free burrito from a lady.

MJ was also coming over to visit with her friend.

I was so happy to see her again.

I danced around the living room.

"Excited to see Mary Jane again?" Aunt May asked.

"Uh-huh," I nodded happily.

We heard a knock at the door.

I rushed over and opened it.

I saw a familiar face and their friend.

"MJ!" I hugged her.

"Hi Peter!" She hugged back.

"Wow. Don't I get a hug as well?" A blondie said.

"Sorry Gwen," MJ giggled and pulled her in.

"MJ!" A masculine voice said.

Ned was here too. I completely forgot.

The four of us all hugged, despite two of us not knowing who the fourth person was.

We dispersed and MJ introduced us to her friend.

"Boys? This is Gwen Stacy," She said.

"Hi. I've heard so much about you two," Gwen said.

"Same for you," Ned said.

"Really?" Gwen asked. "What about this?"

Gwen then leaned up to MJ and kissed her cheek.

Ned and I widened our eyes.

"I didn't tell them that," MJ said embarrassed.

"Oh, sorry," Gwen apologized.

"You two are dating?" I asked.

"Yes. We are," MJ answered.

"You go away for two or three weeks and you find a girl? Yet I couldn't find one for 2 years?" Ned said.

"Well. Things happen," She said.

"Would you girls like to come in?" Aunt May asked.

"Sure," Gwen said.

We sat on the couch and scrolled through Netflix. We eventually found something and watched it. MJ, Gwen, Ned and I had a lot of fun spending time together.

We also decided to have a sleepover since it wasn't a school night.

"Oh Gwen, I completely forgot to tell you," MJ said.

"What?" She said curiously.

"The other day, Peter told me that he saw Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers."

"You mean the obviously gay couple?" Gwen said.

"Yup. And he said the funniest thing to them." MJ turned to me. "Which was?"

Everyone looked at me.

Oh boy here I go.

"I told them that," I began. "They should kiss."

Gwen laughed. "That is the best thing I've heard all day."

"Imagine like walking in the park with your 'close friend' and some rando just says, 'You two should kiss'," Ned giggled.

"I wish I could've seen their faces," MJ said.
